To celebrate the 25th anniversary of this iconic, influential album, I created its live rendition and added six rarely played non-album tracks. I used songs off official Weezer bootlegs, which were recorded in 2011 and 2012 (a lot of them during the Weezer Cruise and Memories tour) and available in the band's webstore for a limited time. I really liked their sound and although there are tons of various Pinkerton songs to be found on other bootlegs, I chose to stick to these official recordings. As a result, the album sounds very cohesive to me, although each Weezer concert was mixed slightly differently. I only adjusted the bass / treble / volume levels of some songs and made the tracks flow one into another, so that the whole compilation feels like an ultimate Pinkerton gig. You can hear a bum note or a messed up verse from time to time, but hey, the energy is always there!

Pinkerton was released on 09-24-1996. "Amazing, strange, and beautiful album that confused and infuriated much of the fan base and critics who had come to love The Blue Album in the preceding 2 years.
