A J-Rock band from Malaysia is kinda weird. However, I quite liked them, a bit too 'hard rock' for me, but I tapped my toes.

I like Unfair Rule. They remind me quite a bit of Tetora, who seem to be quite popular in the native Osaka. I saw them do a show with 炙りなタウン in Kyoto last year. While the band is fairly new and really just now getting some attention, the vocalist Liu Anqi has been around 6-7 years. Many fans will remember her from the shortlived duet called Double Angel (Liu Anqi/Huang Anqi) on the Sing China tv show. She is a multi dimensional singer and with this band they have many different blends of styles that are actually quite unique. And they're just getting better and better. A recent EP release will hopefully add a bigger fan base as well. Now based in Hong Kong, Sixiwanzi could possibly be one of the first bands to be succesful outside of China. Ive been pulling for Anqi ever since that tv show. She has a gorgeous voice. While i do have the studio version saved, this MV was blocked in my area. Also they have a kinda "making of" video that proceeded it. Thanks for doing this one👍

Theres some great live stuff from the geenday tour their on. They got to do OH during greendays set as their set was pulled due to rain.

Six months ago I had never heard this band, now I cant stop listening to them. Boy, do they make you smile and raise your spirits. Love em.

Great rendition of the ending theme from "K-On!". It would be fun if you would take a look at Senri Kawaguchi's drum covers of the music from the same anime when she was thirteen (available on her YT channel).

The surroundings reminds me of the shrine at the temple where B-M shot their Real Existence MV. I've already seen this but i don't mind watching it HAGANE.🤦‍♂️

The band were interviewed on Off The Stage Podcast recently. They said the band name is a reference to the line "You're tearing me apart Lisa" from the 2003 cult film, The Room, with Tommy Wiseau.

They are good, Mr B has done a reaction or two of them. Well worth keeping an eye on, they look very young

This is my favourite of theirs - I particularly like the traditional elements and the short guitar solo. In general I prefer their original music to their covers, although it was their Hiroyuki Sawano anime cover song (while dressed like Band-Maid) from a month or so ago that has got them noticed.

I found this band a few weeks ago. They are growing on me. Try "Wei Dynasty" next.

I believe it was me who sent you a link to their channel, and not to a specific song. You chose one of the good ones! I've watched a bunch of their videos, and they're very uneven. The songs with traditional Chinese elements ar good and cool, but some of the other material is ... less good. They also upload covers (of Chinese songs I've never heard). I also found another Chinese band that was pretty good, I can't remember their name, but their videos weren't exactly brand new, so I didn't send them to you.

I managed to see The Dollheads three times in a week. I'd planned to see them at The Rebellion Festival, on the Sunday, which I did, but on the Friday night, 18Fevers were doing an "after hours" show in a venue over a pub nearby, and The Dollheads replaced a band for that show that had to cancel. And then, a few days later, I noticed an instagram post which said they were playing a final UK gig just down the road in Woking, so I went along to that one too.

You could imagine this doing well on radio. Catchy, nice voice

I’m not a musician but rock seems to demand a lot from instrumentalists. Fast hands and fingers and have to be accurate. I discovered this song by the Muse through these kids and I thoroughly enjoyed it - playlist. Thanks G&M for taking the time for this reaction (liked).

I want to see them cover BAND MAIDs Why Why Why ;) . There are all kinds of unique bands from Japan ... like VELKA (half of the band 362) with only bass and drums. You could say "missing elements" ... or "only essential elements" ;) .

Which reminds me of when i was in Fukuoka with Hika. We'd just bought portions of Takoyaki from a street vendor & i said, "Omg this place is like a maze". Hika replied "Gary-san, maze is the perfect name for the new song we've written". What a slice of luck huh.😃
