Learn German the fun and easy way through Comprehensible Input! Here you won't have to study grammar rules to be able to understand and speak German like a native. Instead, you will develop an intuition for the natural way to speak German the same way you acquired your native language.
In my Videos for German language acquisition, I use a combination of comprehensible Input, TPRS (teaching proficiency through reading and storytelling), and circling questions to help you understand the language and speak like a native.

Helen is learning German and I asked her since when, why, and how she is learning German.
There’s a lot of natural and casual language in this video, so to help you understand what we’re talking about, I made subtitles for you.

I love your videos, but this one is so quiet that I can't hear it 😢
I know, I'm sorry about that 😅 When I started making videos I didn't know anything about audio levels or editing. But from what I read from some other viewers, it seems to be easier to hear with lower quality speakers/headphones than with high end ones. I hope this helps 😅 but the good news is that since then I've learned more about video production 😊

A wonderful method of teaching ! You have a very very attractive manner of expression ------ you repeat exactly what needs to be repeated and this helps memorization. Your classes are really good, but I'd really like if you didn't put text (i.e. written words) on the pictures like in 1:22, and just left the text on a fixed part of the screen I can cover. The reason for that has to do with the method I use, which states reading too early can have detrimental effects on pronunciation (you're essentially connecting German with another language that uses the same alphabet). I recommend reading "The Tyranny of the Written Word" by Pablo Roman Humanes and James Marvin Brown work in general. I subscribed and I'll watch as many of your videos as I can.

There is something about such videos that makes them such a natural and wholesome mode of learning, compared to the typical rules-based teaching which is visually and emotionally divorced from the real world. I could honestly watch these videos all day long and not get bored at all. Not to mention, boredom is one of the most significant challenges in learning German for beginners. I could kiss CZcams for showing this channel on my feed. Thank you for making these. Plus, your voice is also very relaxing. Almost as if you were made for this.
