Brookhill Angus is a Registered Angus seed stock operation located in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Our first Angus heifers were purchased in 1967 and the rest is history, in fact so much so that the American Angus Association recently presented Brookhill with the Historic Angus Award. @@nowandthennnExactly! This is why I hesitate to post about the day to day events of farm life. People don’t understand. I obviously didn’t want her on the hydrant in the first place, but she hooked on when my back was turned, and I saw her minutes afterwards, the. I walked up and gently unhooked her. There wasn’t nearly the drama that people here are suggesting. The hydrant was damaged, but not the cow. Thanks for the comment and support.

Good thing there's a fence between him and the other bull. When I was a kid, there was a large bull that lived near our farm. He'd bellow like that every evening. One time, I made the mistake of taking a shortcut across his pasture and he came at me. It was fortunate I was a good runner and fence-jumper.
