No such thing as "The Best Bow " Everyone shoots differently, holds the bow differently, releases differently....ALL bows shoot differently, even if they're made exactly the same!
No such thing as " the best bow for everyone", but it abslolutely is the best bow for me!
You are shooting from the left-handed side of the bow.
Yes. Im also using a thumb draw, not mediterranean or 3 under. These are asiatic bows and this is the correct way of shooting ! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@RS_ I see... Mongolian horse back sort of thing.
£700 no thanks.
Mine is a Black Raptor which is under 600£:)
Can I have you old less favorite one? 😊
:D Sure, but not for free :) Im actually selling it on ebay:)
@@RS_ I was playing but can you give me the listing I’ll take a look. Thank you for the reply. Both bows are beauty’s!
Could you post the website?
If you asking about the website where I have purchased this bow , here it is simonsbowcompany.com
@@RS_ thank you
Both bows very nice.
Indeed!
for point 2, I guess it's related more to the bow design.Longer bows are more forgiving. If the bow works from the beginning is actually a good thing. A small bow can handle less gpp than a longer one. You can try a Sav or a Nawalny or a Paragon bow, they have no hand shock at all.
This one doesnt have any hand shock at all! Zero! And almost no fibrations.. I mean if I concentrate on picking them I can feel tiny tiny bit, but i need to focus to feel that. Normaly shooting I cant feel nothing at all and Im shooting quite liteweight arrows ~ 8-9gpp. As I have mentioned in the video, my Turkish bow by Vegh has very very small amount of vibrations , so I thought It can not get any better especially when I compared it to my previous bow X laminated Persian By Grozer. But when I tried the Raptor I was blown away
@@RS_ the Raptor looks good but it's expensive. I own the Sav long Dacian, the Nawalny Saracen and the Paragon Raider and they are less expensive. These are good alternatives. I do own a Vegh Turkish and it has some hand shock+ vibrations, however it's a new bow and it might get better after some usage I suppose.
I'm sorry i have an audio processing problem can you put the name of the Bowyer in the description? I can not make out what you are saying to look it up.
Sure. The bow is " Raptor" By Simon's Bow Company . In short- this is the best bow I have ever tried. I havent tried loads of bows , only 6 so far, but some of the bows I've tried are regarded as a great bows ( like the one at the beginnig of the video - Turkish by Vegh) . And the Raptor is better in many ways. (at lest to me) Not by much, but enough to make it my favoutite. Hope it helps
Your old bows handle bulges outwards. The new one bulges into your palm
Thats correct
I have a 60# Végh turkish, Wirth light500 grain arrows its very fast, and i recently bought a full fiberglass hungarian bow 65# and it throws heavy 700grain arrows with authority it kocka like a horse, bit its Touff só tuff that u CAN USE it to Hummer nails with it😂
:D
Noting that you feel the vibration so slight but it let's you enjoy the superb raptor from dedicated practice. Bravo
awesome video.
Thank You!
Wrong! The best bow is the compound bow! Technology > Handmade.
For accuracy -100% !!!. Totally agree ! But for fun -- NOOOOO WAYYY! :) Happy shooting what ever bow you prefer!👈🤜
@@RS_ I agree! Traditional until my last breath!
silly boy, however we fling arrows we are brothers.I have several compounds including an osprey, but the feel of well made traditional bow will always take you to an archery satisfaction that cannot live in a compound.stick around, you will learn.
There is no best bow. Each bow is a balance point between stability, energy storage and efficiency. If you improve in one area, you take away from another. There is no perfect that all areas is at peak.
I understand your point of view, but it all depends how you look at it( think absolute vs relative )
I bet God has cool Bow.
😁
Cupid has one
So cool! Enjoy your new bow, sir! She is beautiful!
I just cant stop shooting it :) Thanks for watching and commenting🤛
@RS_ I want one so badly. I first saw it online about a year and a 1/2 ago and just thought I had to have it! Ya know? 😆 You are truly blessed.
@@matthewvassar9686I know what you mean, bro :) I know, people like different things and some bows we like more than others, but I can not immagine someone not liking this bow once tried.
That is definitely one quite bow and a great looking bow. Have fun god bless.
And a great shooter! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Was just gong to say, it sounds nice and quiet
@@johnrhodes3350 So true a. 🙏🏼
Oooooooo. A Raptor! Enjoy! Great video 😎👍🏹🎥
Cheers, Man!
The Kaya Black K has been on my Future Purchases list for a long time. It might be the next one. I’ll contact Martin when the finances and time arrive. Nice video! Happy shooting :)
Thanks! Its a fun bow! Very different to what I have tried before . I shouldnt like it , but I really like it ( if that makes any sense:) Have a great weekend and happy shooting!
What's the point if you don't show how to do them???? DOH!!!!
Did i sant you a Colored Xtra String too?
Yes, you did, Thanks. I just wanted to start with the original one:)
Beautyfull Bow. ❤ Congratulatiom
I dont know why people buy these piece of shit machines.
:DD DiD yours just broke?;DD Its quite simple.. people like these and thats why they buy them. Makes sense huh?
@@RS_ I dont have one. My friend has 120i, just put in 6k to do the valve stem seals, cam sensors, air bag computer, seat belt computer. and now the coolant is leaking.
but which one is correct
Personally for me it doesnt mater , as long as I can repeat the same weight again and again. Probably none of them are very accurate and if I was selling gold or something else I would get some calibrated ones
I hate clickbate thumbnails 🤣🤣
Oh really? Do You see anything dramatic, deceptive or anything else that grabs viewer attention?;DD
안녕하세요! 한국에서 보고있습니다. 한국활에 관심을 가져주셔서 감사합니다! Hello from Korea, thank you for your interest in the Korean bow.
Very good!!!! 💯
القوس خشب ايه ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Yes, the bow is laminated, so it has some wood ,probably fiberglass too. You can try to go to bogar archery sk , hopefully you can find more information:) Thanks for watching!

The production quality is on point. Kudos to the team behind this!
I have never shot a KAYA but I know from Martín Spörri that they are fast and with practice you can get good results. I have 4 Korean bows and as you get to know them you will like them more but they do have a learning curve . Keep having fun. 😊
Thanks Miguel! Happy Shooting!
Korean bows seem to have a very different sound. My string has 22 or 24 strands and gives a nice thump! What is the strand difference between the bows? Those kta grips are so unique and feels amazing once your shot process kicks into the right gear. I'm happy for you and your new toy! 😂
Oh, thats a good question! I havent checked how many strands are in each bows strings, but the same arrow with the same nock feels almost identical to nock on both bows . But the serving string migh be differet thickness too .
The Kaya has a great sound, but the second bow I like that sound it reminds me a lot of my Bodnick bows.
Sounds like you had a rough start, but as the progression has come along, I think you have worked it all out in the wash Lol. Continue to shoot and enjoy take care and God bless. 👍🏼🙏🏼
Oh yeah, I did, but its all good now! Thanks for taking time to comment!

Viešbučiuose ir senuose namuose yra blakių Anglijoje...
Tikiu:)
Those arrows must be light AF
300 to 350gn (9.7gpp , 9.3gpp and 8.3gpp) and the bow is 30# at 28 Recommended arrows for this bow are 9gpp, minimum 8gpp
doesnt even have nock points on the string, legend lol
Too quick to judge, my friend !:) I have nocking points on all my bows and there is one on this bow, you just could not see it, coz its small! Yes, I always make my nocking points using string serving thread, I dont like these metal ones. And yes, I typically have single nocking point, not two.
I have seen 100 pound bows made from two limbs from a janxing recurve bow, it gave out 90 meters per second.
Cool. I have only seen 260-270 fps or 80m/sec ., but the bows were in 60lbs range
@@RS_ I just saw that it’s 30 pounds.. It’s not bad, but finding 6.2mm arrows weighing 17 grams with normal fletching will be quite difficult.. Well, or expensive
200 fps is the minimum that a bow should produce. Everything below is meaningless. An effective 55+ poundage bow simply must produce 60 meters per second (+-200 fps) with an arrow weighing 500 grains
I wish it was like you say... I like fast bows, but I have not seen many asiatic bows in this poudage (30lbs) that produces over 200fps. There are tens of videos on youtube with asiatic bows in around 40lbs and majority of them are below 200fps with recommended 9-10gpp arrows. I myself tested 4 similar bows and I got 175-190fps. A bow like mine ( Vegh Turkish) can do 260fps but not in 30# draw weight
@@RS_ The problem with most bows is that they are not effective, they require heavy arrows... a Mongolian bow, or at least a similar bow made of horn plates and sinew, with light ends, can shoot very light arrows and not break. no handshock. Fiberglass can't do that... although I've seen bows on CZcams with good speed, 55 pounds produced 62 meters per second with a not very heavy arrow, almost 10 grains per pound. After bows that produce 90 meters per second with a 23 gram arrow, with a force of 100 pounds, and did not break, other bows are too boring.. (made from two junxing arms of 60 pounds, without a hilt, they are glued together the same way as the Mongolian and TD , dovetail, and a steel plate on top)
@@hibahprice6887 I would love to find a good and fast Mongolian bow with no hand shock. Can you recommend any manufacturer?
@@RS_ I live in Ukraine, so I can’t help with the masters. I follow one channel, the author makes them himself, using improvised means, one might say, without machines and so on..
@@RS_ Here's the link if CZcams misses it.. If you're interested and if the subtitles help you understand anything.. The first bow is from junxing shoulders, the second is the one I was talking about, something like a Mongolian one, made of horn and sinew, but the glue is modern, EA-40 czcams.com/video/Ql38jGcL5es/video.htmlsi=mI-yW6q7ozcNMPbj
why are you shooting a left handed bow right handed makes no sense but ya fast bow
Its neither left nor right handed bow, Its Asiatic bow with no arrow shelfs at all . Its ambidextrous and you should try one! Happy Shooting!
Here we go again! Another western archer claiming to know everything about archery... 🥱
I live in California and they all came running into the range telling me I was shooting on wrong side (when i shot a magyar bow) . People are so NPC in America
@@TORREX-A.D. haha :))
Excellent camera angle👍
There was definitely a big difference in the flight of each of those arrows great view thank you. Take care, my friend. God bless.
Yeah. One shot was a simple “ pull and release “ shot and the second shot is where I applied some torque (khatra?) to the bow. Take care
I to say that’s pretty darn fast 👍🏼 👍🏼 🙏🏼
I agree:) Thanks for commenting!
Awesome. 😃
what bow are you shooting with?
Vegh Turkish👍
Very nice shooting my friend great job 👍🏼 🫡 🙏🏼
Well done mate 👍🏼 👍🏼 🙏🏼
