An introduction to Ibis

I am getting below error , what could be probably issue Received exception from server (version 24.8.1): Code: 499. DB::Exception: Received from localhost:9000. Such a useless video. The author is just talking and talking without caring to explain what's happening. Looks like a typical employee, who just wants to prove to their manager that since I posted the video, my job is done for the week !
Hey Abishek - I thought I did explain what it was doing at this point in the video - czcams.com/video/9RRP0kc1rh8/video.html Effectively, Ibis is converting the API calls to SQL, executing the SQL query against ClickHouse, and then converting the results back into a DataFrame. [Mark]
Ibis. Could you compare the purpose of this library with duckdb, pandas, chdb etc.
It could sit on top of any of those and allow you to switch out the underlying data source (if you wanted to do that). I quite like its API and how it lets you compose parts of your query together. But as I showed a few minutes in, the queries it comes up with can be a bit complicated. [Mark]
How much time does Clickhouse take to deduplicate the record? Will that be done instantly as insert happens or will take some time?
PeerDb looks promising! I'd use that if there is an adapter to feed BigQuery to Clickhouse.
In ClickHouse, I use the PostgreSQL engine for tables from PostgreSQL. What advantages does PeerDB have over this method?
That's a good question. The postgres table engine is great for ad-hoc querying and occasional data loading where CDC is all about efficiently and reliably keeping both Postgres and ClickHouse systems in sync, replicating changes in near real time. Functionaly, it's closer to the experimental table engine MateralizedPostgreSQL available in ClickHouse. PeerDB provides a robust and scalable solution for this approach

Hey, great video! Thank you for providing a blog too for the keeper error! I had a doubt. This config is setup for the embedded keeper in the clickhouse server. How do I have the same functionality by leveraging the clickhouse Keeper standalone?
Another great video but I'm curious when would I prefer to use this over a materialized view? The materialized columns seem just like a materialized view except you have more granular control of columns?

In order to archive data from that s3 bucket, I assume it's ok to move files out of that directory and it won't screw up the loading process for ClickHouse?
