Yet another video with a compliant cat, sedated even? Many cats simply will not allow you to do this without extreme duress! Not surprisingly they never show cats like that. My cat would not tolerate it, so I made the decision to not continue putting her through the ordeal of even getting the needle in. I could never get fluid into her, so left that to a diet of wet food for hydration. She was 15 years old, hyperthyroid and with a heart condition. I decided to make her as comfortable as possible until it was time to say goodbye as opposed to a stressful life of poking, prodding, testing and frequent vet visits. Thats no way to live.

I wish everybody did not associate a wagging tail with ONLY happiness. Yes the dog probably knew it was helping them. But t😢hey also wag it when they're nervous or in distress. When they're curious or when they're excited. I'm glad all these animals had their humans who could get them help. 🩵 Oh & what the hell kind of noise is this in the background? It's creepy af.

Unfortunately I'm by myself and my cat will scratch, claw, or bite me when giving her the medication. The towel purrito doesn't work either. I can't get her to lay down flat and straight. Thus her front legs come out snd she'll swat at me like crazy.

Jesus christ woman!! You cut at the lowest point of the absess and you put a drain in. You debribe with a qutip not a shap object like q hemostat or sissor. You flush the wound with a decdent flush not a minimal nozzel to get the debrie tissue out. YOU WAIT to make the cut until the dog is actually asleep and not botherd!!!! You should be glad Im not the dog owner or your superior. Do better!!

I bought a cheap thing with a long handle - it happened to be a mop - and taped it to a 5' stepladder so the end of the handle was maybe 2' above the top of the ladder. We can still use it as a ladder. I then put the bag of fluids on a coat hanger and put the coat hanger into the hole in the end of the handle.
