Our granddaughter Ellie solving a Rubik's Cube.
We were waiting for The Mother Hips to start playing at Hopmonk Tavern in Novato, on June 29th, 2024.
Ellie's record is 35 seconds, which she couldn't quite match on this day. But not bad at less than one minute. Way better than I can do - and I got her started doing these puzzles a couple of years ago. I think my best time is around 10 minutes! I know - lame!

David Nelson, founding member of the New Riders Of The Purple Sage, playing with his band (David Nelson Band) - that's Pete Sears on bass guitar, who played bass and keyboards on the early Rod Stewart albums and later was a member of Jefferson Starship for many years. David Nelson is now 81 years old, and Pete Sears is 76. Always a fun show because all the old hippies come out!

Our summer visit to Boise - it went from cool (snowed at the Bogus Basin ski area first day we arrived), to very pleasant, a little bit of rain (afternoon thunderstorm) to hot (100 or so) in the 10 days we were in Boise. Of course now that we're back in Cotati, it's even hotter here than in Boise right now!
