Czech singer Giudi is an artist who blends music with fashion and art. The current single Visions features a video made in collaboration with Beijing based Taiwanese 3d multimedia artist Veeeky. Her Alt Pop combines uplifting sometimes dark melancholic songs with a future live and electronic soundtrack, her distinctive vocals managing to be both haunting and melodic, with warmly reflective lyrics. She won the Silver Award for new artist at the 2018 Czech Music Awards. Now signed to the London based label Minimal Surface, Giudi has been recording a new album set for release in 2020.

After the Jezinky release, I received a lot of reactions and comments from my new listeners and old listeners, who connected with me throught the music. I was made aware of how strong a message I was sending out there with Jezinky and quietly hoped that it would get across to all those to whom it suppose to reach 🙏🏼 But how could I even expect such an amazing reaction I received often with a strong personal stories? I confess that they often made me cry and my emotion was filled with humility, belonging and solidarity.
It shook me up and inspired me so much that I composed TASTE in mid-March!
I wrote the lyrics of the song by paraphrasing and quoting a few randomly selected comments that you wrote to me in the form of messages under my CZcams videos (I’m curious if you can find yours ;)) I thought it was a great idea to creatively engage your feelings and reactions into my song and close a symbolic circle.
TASTE! is a manifesto and a tribute to all my listeners, supporters and especially the entire Drag community, who have always been very supportive of me and are one of my great inspirations! 🙏🏼🦇🫶🏽

the reason this song is so amazing is because it combines czech into the song, it has something from czech culture and the whole melody just captures the vibes of jezinky absolutely fucking perfectly its as if the song itself is a jezinka and its trying to lure you in with its sweet voice it couldnt have been done better, its just perfection

As Czech I can honestly say I no longer understand my nation. This song is pure jewel, beautiful, fragile, artistic, fantastic vocals and so close to Czech traditions. And instead we sent there We are domi who cannot even sing... utter disappointment.
As a non Czech person I can say, that even tho i love Jezinky and I really admire the fact that this song is really climatic, I think that We are Domi was the best choice in case of having a good result in eurovision. Maybe vocally it was not the best on pre parties but on actual eurovision they slayed and I think that this was the best Czech entry ever 🔥🔥
