I tried it and it works. I have the garage type of lock. It took me less than a minute. I used the small paper clips. Guys this man technique works. Thank You

Unbelievable, it works. Just a few tries with both paper clips and it opened!! Now, time to repair the slight door frame and paint damage caused by trying to open it through the faceplate, latch bolt and door frame. Thanks!!

If the inteeior cam is installed correctly in the down direction when deadbolt is open, and your lock was working properly for some amount of time, then you likely should do a factory reset. Easy to do lots of videos. I appreciate the effort of this person. However like another commentor said below, the person did not clarify that this effort must use the six digit programming code. This did not work for me. I needed to do a factory wipe and reset. This is really easy to do but make sure you have your codes. If you have misplaced them they are on the inside part, but on the surface that is attached to the door. So you would have to take it off to look at it. I suggest you take a picture of it and keep it in your digital files. the symptoms of my lock is that it was installed a year and a half ago and worked with no problems. I was away and somebody was feeding my pet. There was also lots of rain. I am not sure why but my Lock went into an open mode. Where it never locked. You didn't even need to hit the top exterior button to lock it and it would also unlock without needing to touch any buttons. Yes the interior cam is installed in the correct direction. One the above suggestion did not work I did the factory reset. That worked perfect.

How to set timer

My coils keep freezing over. The repair guy says it's the board. Said the thermostat works and the defroster works if he forces it on. But since it's 30 years old we can't get a board to replace. I wish I could bypass the board and just put in a timer to defrost every so often. Is that possible?

You shouldn't be able to pull the pins out of your hinges to be able to open your garage door like that nor any other doors that allow access to outside and most inside doors have a smaller round whole that has a key that looks like a flathead screw driver on the end of it
