*Turn off Door Lock feature:* (1) Press Stop/Clear a few times to put it in standby mode. (2) press and hold the 0 button until it beeps and says "Loc". (3) Within 10 seconds, press the 7 and then press the 9. The screen will then say "Uloc" (Ulock = "unlocked"). The child safety door lock feature has now been turned off.

This knife is very nice, but the 5col version was modified, they sharpened 90 degree spine for use striking sparks from ferro rod firestarters, and i never use this feature, and i like a well polished and rounded borders, so, i preffer the original version. Anyways it is a very very nice knife, a must have for sure.
