The first version of the song "we're going backwards" that didn't make it on the album "life in reverse" because it's tempo was to fast. Now you can enjoy it on youtube along some mirrored stock movies taken from pexels.com

I was curious of how a potato would sound. . MIDI captured with biodata device on an actual potato. The visuals are a 3d potato rendered in Blender. . Plants and Computers United.

How different plants sound from each other? Here is a comparation between Monstera Minima and Schlumbergera captured with my biodata device. No scale is applied, just pure data. Plants and Computers United.
Half Plant, Half Machine

Reaction - Diffusion experiment made with touchdesigner. The shape in the background and the rotation of the cubes is controlled by the sound coming from ableton. The sound is generated with the help of Biodata coming from a Monstera Adansonii plant. Plants and Computers United.
Corpus [Low Frequency]
zhlédnutí 903Před 4 měsíci
To listen to it properly you need speakers/headphones that can handle low frequencies. The sound is created by feeding the sound from a piano track into Ableton's Corpus resonator and a delay for the mid frequencies . The video is reacting to the low and mid frequencies. Audio-Visual Botanical Experiment #3 ( ableton + touchdesigner )
zhlédnutí 1,5KPřed 5 měsíci
Thea idea behind this experiment is to generate audio and visuals in real-time. The audio part is generated by measuring microcurrent fluctuations occurring across the surface of a plant’s leaf. With the resulting audio signal, we generates in touchdesigner a visual representation of the sound. The screen was recorded with OBS Studio. @@Iith_a Thanks. This is made in touchdesigner
@@t.quoise I just downloaded it last week, could you please guide me and advice me or any useful tips/information:D
@@Iith_a Do some tutorials till you get used to it. These are some good channels : elekktronaut , paketa12 and supermarketsallad
I appreciate your response, thank you very much.. have a great day! ✨
@@Iith_a You're welcome
Good stuff man, keep it up

nice
just what i needed today...after interviewing prospective design students...
Super sick!! Is this accessible via Github or somewhere?
Thanks. Unfortunately not, but you can write me an email and I'll try to help you.
fascinating. i was having a rough day and this soothed me greatly. if u have a moment can you expand a little on the roles the plants are playing in these compositions?
I'm glad it helped you. The plants are feeding data into a little Arduino device that converts it in real time into midi notes. So practically after the instruments were chosen and the scale in witch the plant should play is set, the music plays endlessly. You can find more on how this works by googling "Biodata Sonification"
Already working music of the week. Thanks for posting.
this deserves so many more views I love this
so so cool
nice work 🩶 love the background as well !!!
Look forward to more to come
Lovely work my friend! Most relaxing and tranquil :)

Oh I love this broken drums! ❤
Love the abstract background and the chill vibe 🩶
nice track My Friend
Great piece of art
Fractal structures rise from the music soundwaves. Softly-textured synthpads: a magic carpet where sound waves float. Experience well-being. Soothing track. Solid, yet soft.. Energetic, stirring emotion. 🍀🌹🍀
So good!!
beautiful
can you try this with different plants?
Yeah. I bought some new plants so there will be more experiments.
Cool stuff. I like that❤️🔥
Fantastic mate, soooo good
Really special. Thanks
LOVE
Beautiful composition
love this one!! added to my BOC playlist a while ago :)
That's cool. I recommend you to take a look at the album "life in reverse". There are some nice tunes in there too.
this is beautiful good for memories
love it 💜🖤💜
Thank you, wonderful.
Thanks. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
Really great series of videos for an incredible album. Is there a Slint sample in this one?
Thanks man, I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. Do you have a particular song in your mind? I would really like to hear to song.
@@t.quoise The riff at 0:48 just reminded me / brought to mind the album Spiderland (which I hadn't listened to in a bit too long), but I just had a dash through it and it's just because they have some similarly (guess what..) 'spidery' type semi-clean guitar breaks rather than it being specifically that tune. It's a lovely section on your track, how it builds into that riff and comes out of it again. Look forward to what follows 'Life In Reverse' 🙂
@@TheOwlripper Didn't knew the band but I have listened to a lot of Slowcore back in the days so maybe that's reflecting into my guitar playing . Listening to Spiderland the band Duster comes in my mind.
Got me dancing in my pajamas lol. Not often I get to hear a feel good track like this. Keep up the good work!
Hahaha I'm glad that you enjoyed it
@@t.quoise is this your original song you produced this beat ?
