Not the tidiest lap of the weekend but the enormous tow I got from Kane got me the pole for the Libre class 1.30.879 at an average of 93.32mph

First time racing at Donington let alone the GP circuit. Wrong lines, wrong gears, wrong braking points yet still had good pace. Need to improve!

The moment we lost the championship. 5 years of racing and the weld for the detachable steering wheel spline chose that day to break. I was very lucky it didn't happen at a faster part of the circuit otherwise it could have been a whole different story...

Starting from the back due to a DNF in race1. A very exciting race in the first half with the other Libres. Managed to keep up with the 170HP 16v twin cams with my little 1293 5 port and get a 2nd place

Spinning Miglia on turn 1 created chaos for the Libres coming from the back of the grid. I got going and felt confident of a decent finish before steering failure decided my fate :(

Pouring rain and standing water made conditions very slippery at Cadwell Park, Licolnshire last weekend, especially under the shaded woodland section.

Mini Miglia / Libre Race 2 at Cadwell Park September 2018. Leading the class when an input selector shaft pin snapped. Gutted.

The moment that lost me the class lead :-( Soo slippery, right on the edge, and then beyond it. Hard to believe the tyres on the rear could cool so quickly after a trip across the grass, but the car felt undriveable for 2 laps afterwards. By then 2 libres had passed me.

Thought Cuffy was limping with a problem. Thought he saw me. Racing incident. Sorry about the grass Dr Jonathan.
