Pousada Palacio de Estoi Hotel
The **Palácio de Estoi** (Estoi Palace) is a beautiful 19th-century palace located in the Algarve region of Portugal, near the city of Faro. Known for its Rococo architecture, the palace is a fine example of Portuguese romanticism, combining elegant gardens, intricate tile work, and opulent interiors.
Key features of the Palácio de Estoi include:
1. **Gardens:** The palace is surrounded by lush, terraced gardens featuring classical statues, fountains, and azulejos (traditional Portuguese tiles). The gardens are designed in a French style, with symmetrical layouts and ornate details.
2. **Azulejos:** The blue and white tiles, known as azulejos, are a highlight of the palace. These tiles depict various scenes, adding to the overall charm and elegance of the site.
3. **Chapel:** The palace also houses a small chapel with beautiful frescoes and intricate decorations.

Characterised by the rich and decorative architecture resulting from the restoration of a 18th century palace, while preserving its original features, the Pousada Palácio Estoi has 63 rooms, French-style gardens, an outdoor swimming pool with a view of the sea and the mountains, as well as all the amenities of the 21st century.
The Reception area is located in the old Chapel, which, with its Luís XV style, is dedicated to the Sagrada family. In collaboration with the Faro Municipal Museum, the old reception area will now host a new space for exhibitions forming part of a museum collection dedicated to the history of the region and its various : Roman, Islamic and classic influences.

The best show in South East Asia is back and I was very fortunate to attend this event again. This is the summer show (number 5) and I was amazed to see how many new types of Monstera there were here, Many other aroids too with new hybrids of Philodendron, Platycerium and Anthurium too. Thank you for showing me around the plants expo. I believe that you have many nice variegated plants in England. I live only 10 km from the venue but for some reason, I didn’t go. There are lots of nice plants which I have never seen it before but there are lots of plants that I have in my garden. I’m a local here. I can get a nice big variegated monstera for 20 pounds. The prices are extremely costly. I have followed your channel. Oh God, I will have to buy more plants that I have seen them from your video. Enjoy your time in my country. Hi Garry, at 7:05 the Red Dragon Bamboo is Cyrtostachys Renda, Red Sealing Wax Palm. At 12:46 that fern is an Angiopteris Evecta, "Mule Fern". Love your video!

what is with the variegation trend last few years ?? crazy !!
Well I do think the trend for variegated aroids is slowly subsiding except for Anthurium species. I personally am loving platycerium at the moment and I have seen a couple of variegated ones 🤣

Hi Gary very interesting video , do you have to rinse the roots after the hydrogen peroxide wash before packing .
Hello Paul, There is no need to rinse the roots off as this is a weak solution but still does the job. 3% peroxide mix
Great insight Garry. Will you be doing one on receiving a plant and what the customer then should do etc. Just as an eye opener for the novice.
