My heart breaks for the homeless and I would like to start to work in this field. I have zero experience and I've been a hairstylist most of my life. I live in the states. Any suggestions on how to begin? With no experience?

I can’t even get a advocate assigned to me or permanent support. People are dying and staying sick.
Everyone continue to help. Write your congress. And donate healthy food, meat , water, juice, personal hygiene especially women products. Clothing people can keep warm or cool in. Clothes and shoes people can wear for job interviews. Donate your time , money, cares whatever you have. Build affordable housing in nice areas. People need supports in place. Help people get education and jobs. If you help someone then they can help someone. Please pray to Jesus Christ non stop for us please. Supportive housing needs more staff. Staff needs more support and better pay. We need staff stay at least 3 years and have monthly training. Columbus Ohio

i stopped fighting and selling drugs their!! in my days we never had much and we had to sell white and brown to survive !im glad the place has changed!
The is a church called St Martin's in the Fields as well. I wonder if there is any connection between that church and the St Martin's homeless charity.
Amazing people I think the government the council and the general public should do alot more. -give small amounts of change -give food and water -give warm clothing and bedding -refer them to streetlink, crisis, st Mungo, no second night out, or your local council.
No these people are criminal they are useless beyond useless they come see you over and over again they tell the hospitals don't worry if they are homeless send them to us so I was told by the hospital them selves that they sort out you homeless situation because of the way they word it they are crooks
