Tune out that "floaty" feel in Tryp FPV - Gravity Fix
zhlédnutí 18KPřed rokem
A lot of the fpv community will tell you the same thing when it comes to sims, most of them feel too "floaty" which I guess means they're too long in the air when coming off the throttle or that feeling like you're flying on the moon. Not all sims allow you to tweak physics settings but Tryp FPV allows you to tune your quad settings and I was advised by a guy in a Facebook group I'm part of tha...

Thanks .... greeting from indonesia
Greetings sir
salam boss, how's trypfpv after major update
Feels like I need to relearn how to fly a bit. Waay different than before
What simulator is this? I love the HUD
Tryp FPV available on Steam
i dont see the settings cuz they updated the gui😪😪
I haven't actually messed around with trypfpv since the update so I can't advise as yet sorry 😞
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 it’s ok
can u tell me every power setting meaning is
There's been a major update so I haven't had the time to sit through all of the settings yet hopefully soon
cinematic mode is the best thing for FPV sim to have fr Absolutely astonishing
What are the recommended pc needed to use this sim? Graphics are nice.
Game barely even works without a high end gaming PC.
Have you tried lowering the graphic settings?
The game is great, but it lacks few fundamental things. No proper tutorial. No tips, no tricks, nothing. Just go and crash a mil times until you somehow understand how to do it. Watching your flight is cool btw, mostly no crashes )). Any pro tips on how you fly so slow and manage to take corners without accelerating into stratosphere?
Yeah it does lack a proper tutorial. Just keep at it you'll get the feel for it. What's your camera angle set at? What I found helpful was to try and fly in a straight line without ascending or descending and then gradually trying to turn. Eventually you will get the hang of it just take it easy with the throttle and maybe try bouncing the throttle instead of full sticking it. Hope this helps
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 tried different angles, usually stick at 25. Will try. Thanks mate.
@mr.dahorror6303 also try different drones by pressing F on the keyboard to bring up the drone menu. I think I started out with the 5inch Freestyle then just tuned the float out (see my video on how to do this, czcams.com/video/UGqpxYdT4bU/video.htmlsi=USmYOF4N0zQugyr4) Its a slower drone so maybe easier to control when you're starting out. Also try to do the "challenges" by pressing M on the menu and then selecting a challenge.
Same thing can work for velocidrone as well.
Good to know ☺️
Thanks for this, but do you have any idea how to slow down everything on the sim it sims too fast even the cars and the drones its faster than the normal
I know there is a slow motion mode but then everything is super slow. Try using a slower drone maybe? Or when chasing the car use the cinelifter.

Hi there, I have a question: I switched over from my xbox controller to my new radiomaster boxer to parctice more with a rc controller, but when I arm my copter in trype it starts immediately spinning my copter upside down and the copter keeps kinda rolling on the floor without touching my radiomaster boxer until I disarm the copter agin. Flying is totally impossible! I already tried everything to get rid off this problem, but it still keeps rolling my copter on the floor. Now I steped over to Liftoff and I don´t have any problems with my radiomaster boxer, but I would like to switch between Tryp FPV and Liftoff so do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
It sounds like your axis are wrongly calibrated. You should go into settings, controller and re assign the axis by clicking the auto find button and then moving the appropriate stick. Best of luck, I was thinking of making a video on this so please let me know if it helps.
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 Hi there and thank you for you quick answer. I already did that and re assigned and calibrated the axis by clicking on the auto button. It’s only happening when the radiomaster boxer is plugged in and when I’m using the Xbox controller my copter is not spinning around like shit. Like I said before it’s spins around when I arm the copter and it keeps spinning without touching the radiomaster until I disarm the copter again. It would be helpful if you’re making a video so I can follow your steps and see what’s possibly going wrong on my computer. Thanks for you help 🙂👍
Hi, I've tried my best to recreate the issue and have only found one possible way to recreate it. I've made a CZcams Short video to show you czcams.com/users/shortsI7_0iIRSMy0?feature=share Let me know if it works for you.
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 Hi, whoooooooohoooo it’s working 🙌 I recalibrated everything one more time and changed the mode on the left hand side like in your video. Thank you so much for you help and effort. I’m so happy now so I can practice on both simulators 😁👍💪
nice! enjoy it dude :) You'll be a pro in no time
how's that even possible?
practice :)
What setup U running buddy? Digging the split s move… I tried playing tryp on my quad core 2.3ghz with ddr2 8gb ram, I did try rtx550 4gb and a2000 6gb, But I think my cpu was bottle necking but yeah… Ur graphics looks amazing compare to the rest on yt.
Thanks bro. Running i5 12600k with 3060ti. Plays nice and smooth except for the snow map with lumen turned all the way up😂
U should use i5 12600😂😂😂 It's too wasteful
didn't have a graphics card before, thats why I got the 12600k @@hiki_neat315
Apakah perlu monitor hz tinggi untuk game ini? Thanks 🙏 Monitor apa yg anda gunakan?
im using a 60hz monitor. no need for ultra high refresh rate.
Hi brother i was planning to buy a simulator in steam. Shall i buy tryp simulator or liftoff simulator? Which one do you prefer?
I prefer tryp because visually it's better but also you're able to modify the physics and settings of the drone. Liftoff is what I started on but after moving to tryp I found liftoff extremely floaty.
Impresionante!!!😮😮😮
🙂
✌️
That's great! Can I practice with a pc/ ps4 controller or requires only drone controllers?
I started with a ps5 controller. So it's possible but if you're serious about getting a real drone then get a drone radio. Start with the ps4 controller to see if you like it first.
What controller would you recommend if planning to do sim 300hours + before going the real thing thanks
I got the radio master tx12, however I would go for a tx16 or radio master Zorro if I had to rebuy. It's personal preference though. If you are used to a game style controller then get that shape. I'd say go to a store that stocks different ones and hold them in your hands and see which one feels comfortable to you
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 appreciate your time for helping me in my future investment. fly safe! thank you so much again
Hello ! Thanks you for the tips. They release a new drone on the sim (Nazgul V2) which is approximately based on these settings. But i still feel the floaty feeling event with this one... Maybe because it's lighter ?! Do you have any idea how to fix it ?
Just play around with the settings I've changed in this video to get your desired feel. I've not had much time to play with the nazgul yet.
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 I will do that, Thanks !
amazing video been looking for this since i downloaded the game months ago . i just couldnt find good settings till this video. Seems like no one else that tries it cares about that floaty feel... great job dude
Thanks for the feedback. I believe the Nazgul they introduced in the latest update already has similar settings like this applied. Glad it helped you 🙂
simulator name pls
Tryp FPV available on steam
I still feel like little bit floaty 😅😅
Just play around with the numbers a bit more until you get it to where you want it.
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 thannks
Is this drone setting applicable for all other drones also??
It should apply to all the 5inch original drones. The nazgul v2 seems to have these settings by default.
Love to know the computer specs? gpu
i5 12th gen, Rtx 3060 ti gets the job done, I'm only playing 1080p though
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 Thanks so much!!
when will be the real flight ? nice one btw
Hobby flying is banned in my country so have to wait for the ban to be lifted or get a commercial license 😞 tryp fpv is all I got for now 😀
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 ok I understand, that's a good alternative, I'm on uncrashed
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251that sucks man, if you ever visit Alberta Canada i would let you fly one of my rigs. In Canada they put in weight restrictions unless you have a license. I do have mine. And some sub 250g stuff
what radio do you use
I'm using a radio master tx12. The radio master Zorro is the same except it's a gamer style shaped radio. Both really good for beginners I believe. If you could get your hands on one to feel before you buy it that would help a great deal in helping your decision making process.
i was lookihg into getting into fpv, would this be a good simulator to practice in?
Yes I love this one, all simulators are kinda the same but many people say velocidrone simulator has the best physics. Tryp Fpv is visually the best and physics are not far off. Typically simulators get your muscle memory trained on how to operate the controls of the radio, so any one that you choose will help you learn to fly.
Ripping!
Takes a bit of getting used to. This nazgul is a beast
This worked great for me! It made it much less floaty, which made it more realistic, which made it harder to fly. Which is good! I don't want to train using a sim that isn't going to prepare me to actually get into flying FPV drones as best as possible! Thanks so much for the helpful tip! :)
You're welcome! Truth be told I have no real life experiences to compare it to. But does feel alot better this way.
Hi, will try your settings. Was looking for a tutorial to make the TryFPV drones less floaty. Thanks for sharing.
Let me know how it goes. I haven't flown a drone in real life to compare it with🙈
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 After applying your settings the drone is less floaty, which I really liked. Need to fiddle a little bit more, but generally speaking it's going to the right direction. For real life experience: I flown Eachine 129 and LAL5. The 129 feels a bit heavier in the Air. The LAL5 is kind of floaty but that's because the motor are more powerful then they needed to be. However I only flew it with a 4S battery yet. A 6S will add way more weight, so let's see how it goes. I got 6S yesterday.
Glad it helped, hope to get to fly IRL some day!
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 back then when I got the Eachine 129 I paid 145€ for it. Check Eachine or Darwin Fpv drone with Express LRS and they are usually for beginners or on low budget. But if something break you can replace it easy. I used Liftoff as a trainer. If you can get a radio which can be connected to the computer as well, so you will get some 'stick feeling'.
Hello, great, I don't speak English, I'll use a translator, do you know how to link the dji fpv controller with TRYP on a Mac m1?,,,it doesn't recognize it in any way, thanks!!! 👍
Hi, I'm not sure. But I think you need to download the DJI app for Mac then connect it with a cable. Does your controller detect on other simulators?
@@zaahirhamidphotography2251 hello, I would not know which is the app you are referring to and how the process would be, on the other hand if I recognize the DJI FPV Controller Velocidrone, Liftoff, Uncrashed without any problem.
@@maurogutierrez I am using the DJI radio RC on Tryp FPV &Mac M1 without any issue. 1/ close steam & Tryp, 2/ switch on your radio 3/ connect it to your mac via Usb-C 4/ start steam & Tryp 5/ your controller should be visible under C5 name the calibrate etc ... The Dji Radio 2 works very fine.
