Me being a geek: 1 - Why - 80% of all movies ever released were not re-released on DVD or Online when the transition happened in the late 90s. 2 - Channel 3 was chosen because it had the widest frequency gap between two channels ( 2 and 4 ) and the least bleed-over and static.
