Hi, my name is is Andrew and I am a coin collector! I have been collecting coins since I was a kid and started to share some of my experiences on CZcams starting in 2016. I have come to love this hobby whether it is learning new things, coin roll hunting, or just sorting through my collection! I like to post videos of my coin roll hunts, currency stack hunts, news in the coin and currency world, informational videos and more. The best part of sharing on this platform is to continue to help people learn about coins and spark interest into this wonderful hobby! While in Fort Lauderdale, FL, I was able to get this old box of Quarters from a TD Bank. When going through the box, I realized there were NO American Women Quarters which meant I had a box that has never been opened since 2021!What does that mean for the finds? I think you will be surprised!

Are you interested in possibly buying some prefilled books dated back into the 1800s? My grandfather left me a huge collection. I’m about to go bring it to a pawnshop, but I would love to give it to a collector as yourself.
I got some with labels of the vietnam war
Started hoarding copper cents in 1997 they are in jars,cigar boxes, all over the house jus gonna put them in the corner of my room and forget about them 👍😁
Them NIFC coins be as shiny as a mirror if you shined a light on it-
NIFC wouldn't be rolled. They are worth face value.

Not Intended For Circulation
I have stopped saving them once I get a couple of each year. I have dumped 100’s of them after realizing it’s just taking up space and sucking up all my capital. (Cash)
I still keep them because of my archive collection, I am trying to get a roll of each modern coin! Starting at 1909 Pennie’s, 1938 nickels, 1946 dimes 1932 quarters 1964 halves and starting with the Eisenhower dollar coin! So far I only have just under 200 nifcs included in there

what do you do with all left overs that arent collectible?
Any coin that isn’t collectible I bring to the coin return at my local credit union to go back into circulation. The money than goes to the next box of coins!

got all most 400 pounds,plus about 3 lbs. of indian heads,found about a lb. of those in an old house we demolished when i was a kid,some child i would imagin saved pennies by stuffing them behind the mop boards of this house,every room every wall...it was the coolest fun find ever!

Weigh your 1982s some are copper they should weigh 3.11 grams.

You should slow your search down and really pay attention..I’ve pulled some insane error coins ,double stamp ,grease marks ,double mints ,clips but I pulled a insane stamped coin were the obverse was stamped on the reverse ,the coin was a early 90’s and was really circulated .ive taken too different coin shops and no one has ever seen anything like it..them error coins are were the big bucks come in

Yeah, it's been time to, at least passively, collect Copper pennies since 1982...or 42 years. 15 or so years ago, you used to be able to get somewhere between 30% to 35% Copper per penny roll. Now, you typically only find between 11% to 15% per penny roll, at least in my area. I will not be surprised to find that number dwindling into the single digits quite soon. As inflation rages and commodity prices rise with the dollar's collapse in value, more people will start to locate value in real money and tangible assets.
That is true. Though many people do not know about collecting copper pennies, the few that do, will continue to do so and as more and more people learn about it you will see fewer and fewer. I mean that's what happened to the wheat penny. I Typically find 20% copper in my area but I've seen as low as 4-5% in some areas I hunted.

Yes, Melting pennies is a crime today, the point to hoarding is with rising copper prices, one day legislature could reverse that law possibly when we abolish the use of the penny. The only thing I waste is space in the house, I can always get my investment back by rolling the pennies up and bringing them back to the bank. There are cheaper ways of getting copper, such as going through scrap metal, but this way is fun and part of my coin collecting hobby!

On my penny hunts I only average 5 to 8 copper pennies per roll. And 4 or 5 wheat pennies per box.
Currently I average 8-10 coppers per roll, some boxes getting up to 12 per roll. I usually get 12-14 wheat Pennie’s per box, rarely do I get single digits in my area.
How many copper pennies are you allowed to hoard on the ship?
Because we do not travel internationally, I don’t have to worry about having more than $5 worth of Pennie’s to travel home. I’d usually go through about 3 boxes of Pennies on average, meaning I usually come home with 1200 to 1500 Pennie’s. I do however get stopped by TSA often for traveling with coins in my pack.

It is also against the law to export more than $5 in coin outside United States borders...These crimes are punishable by up to 25 years in a federal petitionary...So keep on hoarding those pennies..LOL*
Yes, that is an obvious fact, the point of hoarding is for for the moment when legislature reverses the law, and copper needs to be recalled, we will be ready. Lol
