Jan Akkerman can play! BB King is class!
This man deserves the utmost respect and admiration he could have been a household name like Jeff Beck or Eric Clapton but no way was he gonna water down the blues to be radio freindly he kept it real
Guitar playing doesn’t get much better than this
I’ve been going to concerts for over 40 years … and I’ve seen many guitar greats … and nothing was like a Buddy Guy show in the 80’s and 90’s … his guitar skills is only matched by the greats … and if you put in his showman skills … there’s only one …. Hendrix 🎸
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies & Gentlemen….Buddy Guy Nuff Said
Hot hot music
Albert Collins, the Master of the Telecaster 😉👽❤🤘☝️🍻
The last of the great bluesman. Buddy still doing it in his 80s. God be with you Buddy.
Lol "Stevie wasn't even born yet"
Great performance
Excelente .
Yes, this is Robben Ford but he is playing with his brother Patrick's band (he's on drums) FORD BLUES BAND, Poplin on bass, Volker lead, guitar. Have been together for many decades (5?). Robben was born in Dec 1951, I think Patrick Feb.1949. Don't they sound better than ever here? THANKS IVARUS for this share!
So worm feeling..
Legend guitarist,love,super blues,love blues ❤️👌🙏🍀🎶🎼🎵✌️🎸🎤
Jan ……. The goat on guitar!!
What means goat ? The best ?
Made think about my mom when I was little on Friday and Saturday night
It just don't get no better than these two and you can tell Gary loves sharing the stage with Albert ...
two monsters ... peace+love><>
Real half ass class !!!!!!!
Buy a suit ...or change my oil !!! Learn the words to strange brew !!!!!!
Oh no...not him again !!! Mr fishing for compliments guy
The only thing that would make this better is BB wearing a matching JB outfit! 😉🔥
Cream was electrifying, the fuck was that 😂
WOW from Finland
Albert says far more in 4 notes than Gary says in 40. It ain't the speed that counts but the feeling. Albert's got it. Gary ain't. When taste vs flash. Taste wins hands down.
Gary Moore struck fear within other Artist of how amazing his skills were. But seems like such a stand up guy they all had to befriend him. Quality
Amazing playing and chops from both of these cats, Robben is my favorite player too...what can I say I'm a sucker for blonde Telecasters
Robben here is amazing, very sofisticated
Buddy and Jimi both have a wildness and unpredictability in their playing. They don't rely on licks, and even when they do fall into cliche', they always find new ways to twist it. I feel like Jimi absorbed that from Buddy, but he made it more lyrical. Buddy is more adroit, jagged and angled.
No buddy telling history on where our music came from
Diese Werbung ist ne Frechheit
I see comments dead from 10 years :.) here to make it alive
I’ve seen Buddy several times, seen BB, Beck, Prince, etc etc too many blues guys, Santana, never saw Hendrix but I’d put him in another league. Say what you will, he transcended blues guitar, he was an open channel.
Only 2 players knock me out and make me & others, as I've seen all over, jolt: Buddy Guy & the deceased John Cipollina. It's fun to see others spaz up & settle back down like a speed bump in front or to the side of me; I know I'm working fine then.
Man, that's the Blues at his best.. Wow....
2nd guitar is Volker Strifler - a great guitarist in his own right from Sonoma County. They play together a lot. I think Volker got Robben inspired to rip it up.
But ya'll don't want to learn about CRT!!!
Like that
Gary Mooorre was driving with his guitar on him playing an driving people could not believe itt/tt0
How GREAT do you have to be to make Jimi just shake his head???, then years later you make Vernon Reid smile in AWE. What a player.
shuggie otis song....but slower
wonder if you still have footage of this...took my 10 yr old daughter to this as her first show...would love to share with you how we came to sit in the VIP seats for this show...EPIC STORY!
ALESSANDRO DE SOUZA AXÉ BOM DIA ALESSANDRO DE SOUZA AXÉ BOM DIA
Is that 2nd guitar player his brother, Mark Ford?
No. His Brother pat is on drums. Other brother mark that play harmonica is not on stage. Wonderful family 😀
I saw him around this time in Cincinnati at sawyer point pavilion…free concert outside. Flippin amazing 😻
My boys 💓💓💓💓
No one could make the guitar talk like Mr. Collins. Like literally talk.
100% agree

RIP Mr Albert Collins. Grande!!!!
I saw buddy guy pre covid. He broke a string and was playing his guitar by hitting the strings WITH the broken string.
