I've been a Manchester United supporter all my life I've seen us lifting the title after not winning it for 26 years, seen the semi final against Juventus and the treble but I remember watching this match live and seeing Cantona coming from the tunnel made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!! This would definitely rank in my top five best moments as a Manchester United fan 👍👍

It took me a few years but as age slipped in I cut my hair , As it was getting cut this song popped in my head, I went home got high that was 1996 I,m 64 now

My father - a career soldier- left for Germany in the Spring of 1963. That was the end of haircuts for me until I was drafted into the Army in '65. Before he left he used to make me get a very short haircut every week of my life and I hated it. I left the Army in Sept. '69. I've never had a haircut since. I'm 71 in Nov. It wasn't so much the Hippie movement (although I'm still a Hippie) that influenced my hair growth. It was just that feeling of freedom, "letting my freak flag fly." Long hair, as a fad, came and went. I'm still here.

Sure that's the way it was? When I was in Nam my best friend took one bad and all he wanted to do was go to California and grow his hair, when he died in my arms I told myself when I get out I'll never cut my hair...and I still haven't.

I will always remember the second day of AF basic training when this black guy (Sewell?) walked by singing this song. Hair meant a lot in 1971.
