useless to people who dont have the dies
Ah, Rachel, I suppose that is true. I'm sorry you didn't find it helpful, but I suspect if you have ANY square dies, you may still be able to make a similar card. I hope that it's possible for you.
This is the best description of making fractured cards I have seen, thank you.
Thanks so much! I try very hard to make my videos clear and as easy as possible. And these are very fun cards to make! I hope you can try it.

Very interesting to see. I think I have just developed a case of card stock and DSP storage envy.
Very nice design! Thank you!❤
Thanks, Carol; simple and pretty, just how I like it .
Thank you for this!!! I've ordered it, wondered how it worked ... thanks to you now I can do it !!!
Glad I could help, Lynn. It’s a very fun set but you can use the dies with other sets-I made one with a birthday message under the “zipper” die. Experiment and have fun!
I found you on Christmas Day!! Never too late to make a card. I put money it. I love this simple design.

Darling card!!! Great job!!

this was a great video! Thank you so much
Thanks so much, Marla; I’m glad you liked it!
Now how fun and easy is this card (lol)? TFS a GREAT design! I think it would be nice to make the top front panel come down about 1/4 inch below the bottom portion of the card. A small magnet (positive and negative on opposite sides of course) would hold the card together! Yes, it's a little bit more work, it adds a few extra coins to the final cost of the card design and kids don't care if the card is neatly closed or tends to stay open BUT it's a neat, finished look! It's obvious I have serious O.C.D.!!! So sorry my comment is a year late but your tutorial just now popped up on my you tube page!
Thanks for the suggestion, Gayle. I suspect it would be easy to modify this design to include a magnetic flap.
New subscriber! This is a great project! Thank you so much!
I’m glad you found me and that you like this project! Thank you!

So glad you like it! Thank you!
I just saw this video today for the first time. Really pretty and definitely a scrap buster.
Thanks, Mary; I hope you'll try it, but please read the comment about the size of the paper - it needs to be 4" x 9-1/2" in order to work the way I made it!
Lovely!! What kind of glue are you using?
Thank you! I usually use Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue for these types of projects.
Hi, thank you for your video. Very good. I love your card. However, please, I have a different set of square dies and so could you please tell me what size squares you have used.....That would be extremely helpful. Thanking you in advance.
The sizes of the dies I used (Stylish Shapes) are approximately 2-1/4" square for the larger one and 1-7/8" square for the inside/smaller square. Really any size will work as long as you follow the edges when you lay down your strips. Hope that helps!
I just found you today (one year later) So thrilled I did. Really enjoyed your clear tutorial. Your voice is calm. Thank you❤ Five ⭐️’s😊
Why thank you! I'm so glad you found me!
Thanks so much for this nice review! I'm glad you found me, and hope you'll come back again.
Beautiful!!! Such a good taste with the paper combination!❤❤
Aw, thank you so much!

So pretty. 🥰
Thanks so much! We have such beautiful paper and any of them will make a lovely card.
Great cards with easy to follow instructions.
Thanks so much, Cindy! This really IS an easy card when you know the tricks to line up the strips. I hope you’ll try it! 😊
Simple and elegant.love it😊
Thanks, Angela! When you use pretty paper this gift card holder makes anyone feel special!
Cute card!
Thanks, Deborah. They are so fun to open! I hope you’ll give it a try.
Excellent video. TFS. Not many out there who will explain how to do this.😀
Thank you, Kathy; I love sharing my favorite techniques. Glad you liked it! 😊
Enjoy your ideas. Thank you!
Thanks so much, Mary! I appreciate the comment! 😊
Hallo, danke fürs teilen. Kann man irgendwie deutsche Maße bekommen, bitte. In cm... Dankeschön. Alles gute. 😊🕊️
Priscilla, I am going to make these for my Christmas gift cards and money that I give to those on my Christmas gift giving list. Thanks so very much! Love this tutorial! Take care. Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
Thanks so much, Cookie; I’m glad you enjoyed it. Please note that the measurements were incorrect in the video and the card stock needs to be 9-1/2” long. Everything else is right. I hope these turn out well and that your recipients love them as much as I do!
This is so ADORABLE! Thank you so much for sharing! Would a 3x3 magnet fit in the gift bag?
Yes! A 3x3” magnet should fit although the top will stick out under the ribbon handles. But the width of the bag is big enough to get the magnet in. Please note the comment under the video-the card stock should be cut to 4” x 9-1/2”, not 4x9 as I stated in the video. Thanks for watching!
LOVE 😍😍😍
Thanks so much, Deborah! I hope you’ll give it a try! 😊. It really is a great little surprise for someone you give it to.
what paper did you use to cut the leaves? I love this card - just beautiful! thanks for sharing.
Hi Sheryl, thanks for watching. I made the leaves using Moody Mauve card stock and the veins are cut with All About Autumn DSP. I actually made another video about how I made them; you can see it here: czcams.com/video/xo5bWq3M2NU/video.html If you check my channel the name of the video is Creating Autumn Leaves Hope that helps!
Great tip about the glue don’t! That was new to me. Also love the project!!
Thanks! And I’m glad you found my glue dot tip helpful! I use that all the time.
I can’t wait to try this.
@@Tracylovescrafts Thanks, Tracy, it's a fun and very cute way to deliver a gift card! I hope you'll give it a try!
