Ive just relocated to Puglia myself. Have dreamed of living here for many years but i was in another part of the world... Its just the best place in the world, Puglia! And the bestest part of Italy I reckon. Its not only beyond magnificent, but its low cost living, everything in regards to lifestyle and costs is top quality and relatively inexpensive, considering the way the world is today. Mind boggling beauty everywhere you go!! And the people are the most kind, generous, sweet people on the planet! Happy long retirement to your parents! Good on them taking the leap.

We use to live in Cypress California and had a huge back yard full of beautiful exotic plants and edibles.We had two of the trees you want to know the name of.The Dr that we purchased the house from called them ‘Loquat’ trees.Boy are they ever tangy and delicious.We watered them a lot and the fruits were more juicy by the year.I am 61 now,and still miss our beautiful yard and those trees.Your parents home in Italy is going to be spectacular.Thank you for this video🙂

It sounds like you are trying to find the right fit for your family. I love scenic places. There are great tax breaks for very wealthy people in Florida so there are perks attached to that when it comes to building cities within the state. I have a feeling a move to Europe is in your family’s future. 🤔

This was nice. I was a born and raised in LA and so was my mother. So much has changed. I loved Fat Burger burgers and the chili fries. Especially after a night out of dancing and having fun. Remember Tommy Tang’s restaurant on Melrose…yum. So many good places many of which no longer open. I moved out as well and said goodbye in 2018. 👋🏽😊

Hello Ben. Love this. Miss this. A lot of places in Europe have siesta. Hope that’s how it’s spelled We lived in Germany for years and visited a lot of countries. Italy was one of them. Europeans do know how to LIVE. THANKS for this mental trip with you God bless you and family.

I was born and raised in South Philly and Camden County, New Jersey. I've been living in Lecce for the last 37 years and every time I walk through the city Center I am amazed at the history. Lecce is actually 3 cities built upon each other. The original Messapic town was called "Rudiae". This was overbuilt in the Roman Era and called "Lupiae" (The same symbol of the She-Wolf that is found in Roman tradition), and the last town "Lecce" is a dialectic word meaning "Pin Oak" in English, which was a common species of tree from the area. If you look at the crest of the city, you'll find these symbols reflected. Nice video!

Modern house lovely area I was in Italy laat year

I live in italy and started in Lecce. I havent had quite the same experience, ive encountered some negatives. Italy is quite a difficult place to live. I think if you meet someone it smoothes the way. Its good to hear someone finding theirforever home. Unfortunately i've experienced unwelcomed older men hitting on you consitantly, following you, .stalking in cars, indecent exposure on motorways and quiet beaches. Difficult rude landlords, deposits stolen. High amounts of ant-social behaviour. Terrible, terrinle customer service to a shockung level.. Against this yes, i love the beaches. The blue skies. The architecture, the simple life. But i find overall Italian personality more negative generally. Which goes against the stereotype of hospitable. I find there is generally an "unhelpful" culture. Which slightly dampens thel love of this experience.
