Hello Kevin, please find below my answers: 1- Yes, EVE-NG is used. 2- SW version is V8R11, you can download it from here: www.mohammadhamdy.com/free-software.html 3- Yes of course, EVE-NG is helpful for HCIE, but you will have to spare some good resources (CPUs, RAMs) for EVE-NG VM, you should have spare at least 2G memory per NE40E router.

Hi Rym, thank you so much. Yes E-trunk is the same as the MC-LAG for Huawei routers, and for Huawei cloud engine switches, there is another technology: v-stp. You can have same link between PEs for heartbeat of different E-trunk, but for the Eth-trunk connection going to CE routers, it can be bounded to only one e-trunk.

Thank you for your support, you can use command display mpls l2vc to check all needed info for the VC of PWE3, but in this type of L2VPN, the router doesn't forward customer traffic based on MAC-addresses, it did not see them, the router just forwards based on vc and its destination (p-to-p), you can check the Mac address from the customer router side using command display arp, for VPLS (VSI) it's multipoint access network, and the router can learn the Mac addresses, you can use display Mac-address vsi.

Thank you so much for your reply, and I apologise for my late reply, in the video, I use static MPLS TE tunnel, better to use specific path for more control, I will prepare a new video for dynamic MPLS TE tunnels soon, we need to use command [mpls te signal-protocol rsvp-te] under the TE tunnel and not use explicit path. in my Huawei MPLS Services Volume 1 and volume 2 courses I use static TE tunnels with importing services traffic using Tunnel policy and using shortcut / Forwarding adjacency to announce the tunnels in IGP.
