ahhh i’ve heard of those russian movies, i’ve been meaning to watch loveless for so long - i’m so glad you know that movie!! whenever i’m talking to my granny again, ill ask her and pass it on, because i forget - one of the movies was the cranes are flying from 1957, it’s on youtube and it’s beautiful but there are many more, movies like Brat ( brother) from 1997 is very popular but not one my granny would watch 😂 and i don’t know that music video !!! i need to look it up!! i heard the new movie she’s in ‘kinds of kindness’ is meant to be NUTS, more hectic than Dogtooth, which was a very weird movie that I loved, have you heard of it??? thanks so much for the comment as always, i love them, have a nice week!!! ✨✨✨

@@PavelTalks I lived in Southern California for most of my life and moved bc it was getting too crowded and too expensive to live there but I love California. I moved to Arizona bc I had family here who hyped it up but I hate it here. It’s all desert with hardly any trees and no grass and the people here are some of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my entire life lol. I’m in the process to move to Kentucky, which is close to the east coast, and it looks nice and green where I’m gonna be moving to. I’m not a fan of this country if I’m being honest. The gun violence is out of control and it seems like too many crazy people have guns, especially here in Arizona. You can literally go to a flea market here and buy a gun with no questions asked. It’s wild.

Oh god - I hope you’re move will be better for you, i’ve moved around a lot so I understand that part of it. Of course, it seems extremely terrifying. I really hope whenever you move things will go uphill 🫶🏻✨

LOL I bet it was either the word "rigged" since it's been used a lot in the US 😅, or maybe it was "Lenin" in the name of the movie 😂 Glad you managed to read it anyway! 😊 Oh don't be so hard on yourself, you've watched soooo many movies, eventually you were gonna have them mixed lol I thought it might have been another Buck or a remake. About how do I find new movies... 🙈 I don't know 🙈 They just come to me 😄 I can't explain it, it just happens with movies, music, weird facts. The word "obscure" has been thrown around when I share something 🙈😆 🤔 I guess a lot of things catch my eye, so maybe I can't remember a reference but I do remember titles? I don't know, I'm weird 🙈😆 But around 2010 conversations around cinema were purely around the art, so film festivals, interviews, articles were all strictly about movies, both those being presented or those that had been an inspiration, so that used to help a lot. Now I just wait until something good finds me 😆. I know this was no help, but I promise it's very true 😄

It’s an incredible movie - nobody ever mentions it and it’s crazy how powerful the acting is, such a great movie, I want to watch more like it 😂😂 I wanted to make a video about “Scary Movie 2” this week but i’m not sure if i’ll have time but i saw a clip from it and it brought me back to when I was 12 😭 have a lovely week!!

honestly i loved the movie but oh my god i was not prepared, I watched it because I had 90 minutes to spare and after it as I was driving I was just picturing all the scenes and couldn’t focus on the road 😭 is it bad that i’ve never heard of that? it sounds intriguing….

@@PavelTalks I don’t think most people are prepared for pink flamingos 😂 I’m not surprised you haven’t heard of samurai champloo, it’s anime. Idk why I went years without watching anime and suddenly I’m back into it again. Samurai champloo is an older anime that came out around 20 years ago haha. I forgot how good it was and that it has so many adult themes. If you ever feel like watching anime I’d recommend it. The first episode really pulls you in.

i’ll have to check it out !! that’s definitely a gap I have, watching anime, I enjoy movies like Perfect Blue so I’d definitely need to check out some series

@@PavelTalks Oh a mood reading algorithm would be so cool and so scary 😆 but very useful! I love Lilo and Stitch! It's cute and fun, but also packed with serious topics, I remember feeling her sister's struggles to stay together. I don't use anything anymore 🙈 I tried IMDb but I would always forget to log in 😆 I tried keeping my own list, that then became lists, and I would always end up forgetting about them 😂 So now I just go by memory, if I don't remember the plot of something I watched, then it wasn't so good 😆 And if I don't remember I wanted to watch something, then I don't stress about it anymore! 😁 Chaotic, but works 😂

Damn you’re doing it so right, I remember just enjoying being like “yeah i think i’ve watched it??” but now I use letterboxd like a personality trait at times which i’m aware of and I hate so maybe, maybe I need to delete it 😂😂 I’ve wanted to delete lots of apps for a long time such as instagram but that’s a story for a different day 😂😂

@@PavelTalks I mean, it makes sense to keep it because of your channel; but also, yeah, if watching a movie starts feeling like a task, then yeah, maybe you can try a different method to keep track. Deleting apps, yeah, everyone's wish these days 😆. I stopped using Facebook long ago, I kept my account to stay in touch via Messenger with friends and family, but I never go and check what people post anymore. With TikTok I only allow myself one hour a day, cause that thing is ADDICTIVE. And with CZcams I turned off the history, so it doesn't recommend anything. That way, I only watch whatever I can think of, and don't stay any longer than what's healthy lol

Honestly, that comment made me feel a little emotion because of how poetically you explained not just growing life but how quickly things changed and with that, they’re things out of our control. It’s definitely something I think about daily and find it difficult to accept at times, and I find myself in a cycle of accepting it - being upset about certain things and repeating it (movies being a catalyst for the spiral) saying all that, there’s so much to consider when asking what the best way is to watch a movie thanks for the lovely comment :)

@@PavelTalks 😆 Life's short, watch or rewatch whatever makes you happy lol 😜 Oh no! Your voice! You know, salty water gargles help ease the throat. Just one teaspoon of salt in a glass of water, try it twice a day. 🤔 If you're working out, make sure your air way stays open, instead of tightening it as you lift or whatever exercise you do. Learnt that from a voice doctor 😊 I like the video essays! It feels like a podcast. I'm not sure I have a favourite format, I like the chaotic games, the multiple reviews per video, the bad movies reviews lol, and the vlogs. The more diverse content you create, the more your personality shows. So, I don't think you have to stick to one particular format. You can have fun trying different things 😁 PS: 🙈 sorry for typing so much 🙈

@@PavelTalks thank you ☺️ idk what second hand shops are like over where you are but I’m available to find tons of dvds at thrift stores and pawn shops here and they usually only sell them for $1-$3 and the dvds are usually in good condition so that’s probably where a good chunk of my collection has come from. I’m sure it would be pricey if I would’ve bought every one brand new from the store 🙃
