One gripe, would've been nice to have those little sticky parts numbers on the pieces. I mean, if Ikea and those cheap assemble stuff Chinese nightmares can what's up here?

WD-40 is a metal cleaner, not a lubricant!!! They sell lubricants as well. Remember you can get the squeaks out of springs and whatnot with WD-40, but they might very well start to rust if you dont add a little oil afterwards.

Some great stuff. But not a fan of using your sofa seats for head rest. Another thing I'm not a fan of is the base bed board is sticking out too much more than the mattress with chances to bump your shin against it. I think the front need 3 inches off and the both sides 2 inches off.

I question the logic of MurphyBed to leave it to the buyer to install the springs. Murphybed couldn't manufacture this mechanism with springs installed? looks much easier to install them than IRL. MY Knuckles took a beating.

HELP: I have the same system... My springs are opening in opposite facing opening. the hook on one end is facing downward and the other end, its facing upward. So I really cant just pot under the frame holes. one of the hook has to be on the top of the hole.....all the springs are like that.. all 16 of them...
