this is a fighter jet. ukraine has no fighter jets left altogether. who will they fight with? russia uses the multirole bomber su34.

super maneuverability means it can rapidly and sharply change its trajectory and the missile will have to do the same. when missile does that it runs out of fuel very quickly. this is a way to survive. they can maneuver at supersonic speeds. if you fly like a pregnant cow in the f-35 your chances are not very good. the f-35 isn't even a supersonic plane.

@@kjererrt7804 2/3rds of the USAF's can't fly. For some reason the IAF has little problems keeping theirs in the air. Same with the UK and Australia, their aircraft don't seem to have the same issues.

@@whytebearconcepts i don't like to guess i only say what i know for sure. and the f-35 has about 800 defects right from the factory. there used to be more but they fixed several of them. still it's the most ridiculous plane on earth. it's not even supersonic. etc etc.

@@kjererrt7804 That's an interesting comment since the Russians have not had encounters with either the F-22 or F-35 when they were in pure stealth modes. All recorded intercepts indicated that the F-22's intercepted had their IFF operational for other Allied assets in the area, while the Dutch F-35 encounter in February of 2023 showed the Russians had no idea the F-35;s had intercepted them until visual had been established. Again, in the Baltic incident, the Italian F-35's had their IFF equipment working to communicate with AWACS when the Russian Su-30SM's intercepted them. The interesting issue there is that the NATO AWACS didn't see the Sukhoi's either, which I do find interesting. But consider the information source, a Bulgarian Military News Service, in the article dated in June of 2023. Don't get me wrong: I absolutely love the Su-30's and Su-35's, I think they are very potent platforms, I would have loved to trained with/against them when I was flying F-16's for the ANG here in the US. Just remember that NATO pilots train more in a year than Russian pilots fly their entire lives. and to quote this renegade US Navy Captain; "It's the pilot, not the plane". ;)

How is it that an Air Force over 1,300 warplanes it’s in it 3rd year of warfare and has not taken out a force of less than 100 old planes. Some have given the reason that many of Russian’s planes cannot fly, are out of service

@@kjererrt7804 Failure and information, well how about the fact that an Air Force that outnumbers it opponent by almost 14-1 and is fighting old warplanes cannot wipe it’s opponent out, Syria has a larger Air Force and they don’t dare take on Israeli Air Force. I am confident the US would have taken care of it and without F-35 and F-22
