King Baana of Sidon was entombed in this sarcophagus in the 5th century BCE. Sidon was a Phoenician city state in present day Lebanon. The Lycian Sarcophagus is part of the Istanbul Archaeological Museums. Visited on May 19, 2024. This is amazing!!😍 hoping husband and I could finally visit next year. Visiting 10 of them is a must! Thanks to Expo 2025, the one that pushed us to travel to Japan. But only for a week. Our schedule sucks. 😫 Nevertheless, a trip is still a trip! I’m the planner so I really have to make it a great trip for us. -Expo -USJ -Kumamoto - 10 statues Hopefully, we could fit these in a week. And then will hope again for another Japan trip. 😁 Husband’s “God” is also Oda. He influenced meeeee. 😁 such a good influence. 💕 God Oda, the bestest ever!

how long did it take to drive to all the statues. Im planning on renting a car to do the same.
It took us four days. It would probably be doable in three days. Two days would be an uncomfortable marathon. One day would be misery. Have fun!!!
