This is the best anti Virus i have ever used. I believe that Clamwin Anti virus is made by Apple. This anti virus has saved me Blue screen many times. I tried using windows defender and it was useless.

It is important to turn off fire wall and install with Administrator or you won't be able to access c drive. So for for more then 20 years clamwin hasn't miss a virus.

Did cleaning out the MAF sensor work? What symptoms did you have?
Cleaning the Maf sensor did work. sometimes you you to replace the Maf sensor. On other occasions it was the connector pins that go into the computer get rusted and that can be an issue. That's about it.

Doesn't matter what sealant you use. Just make it thin. It won't stuff the threads. Some people make it super thick. I've seen horrors. The idea of fixing gear boxes are ridiculously expensive. I buy stat right offs and swap gear boxes. I may sell the Stat right off or wreck the Stat right off. That way i get all the parts i need and make a Profit. A gear box for a Triton Petrol 2.4 is $2800 from the Wreckers. i also buy repairable Write offs and i buy the same car stat right off. That way i pay nothing for the parts to fix the repairable write off. I make good

your clutch pressure plate will return the thrust bearing to its resting position when the clutch pedal is disengaged. that wouldnt be any cause for concern.👍

It does work. If you go to a doctor and he just give you cream. He's not doing his job. My grandfather had a glass shaped like a sausage that he would use. They were poorly designed. I think your laptop has an hdd if you use davinci resolve you can install linux mint (which supports davinci resolve but idk about handbrake) or get an ssd. Or do both and you will have a very fast laptop.

Try to get hold of an LTSC windows, it's a lot faster and free of all the bloat that regular windows 10 and 11 has. On one of my computers, windows 10 took over 10 minutes to fully boot, but trying LTSC on the same machine, it only took 30 seconds.
btw having an i7 doesnt mea anything. thats probably a 6-7 year old cpu with a slow hard drive and youre crying that it cant run windows 10.

Try Linux Mint. Handbrake And Davinci Resolve Are Supported. And You Can Work On Your Pc While Updates Are Installing.
Mate linux is perfect for you, divincie resolve, and handbrake all have native linux ports.

Hey man. Honest opinion from an IT guy here. While Windows 10 is not the greatest OS out there, it is the better of the two currently available from Microsoft. While everyone is screaming at you to install Linux, I will tell you two simple things: 1. This laptop seems old, Toshiba aren't naming their laptops "Toshiba" anymore. So it most likely contains an old cpu, single core or dual core, and 2 or 4GB of RAM which is not enough for daily tasks nowadays. 2. It also most likely contains an HDD which is slow considering the amount of background tasks and reading/writing Windows 10 does. My advice to you: 1. If you have 2GB of RAM, upgrade to at least 4GB if available on hand, or if you want to buy, upgrade to 8GB, second-hand LPDDR3 RAM costs pennies nowadays. 2. If you have an HDD, get a 256-512GB cheapo SSD, most of them run for a long while 5-10 years no matter how unknown the brand is, and they run around $15-25, where I live. In conclusion, no need to upgrade the laptop, no need to change the OS, might need to install some new/upgraded hardware like an SSD or additional RAM, and reinstall Windows 10.
My Toshiba is only to run my tv. I agree that toshiba is crap. I have other computers that a very fast. I bought them just before covid when i was in Singapore. You really can't buy a fast Lap Top at a good price in Australia. I have alot of good friends in SIm Lim(A Buillding full of the cheapest computer tech in Singapore). I also have gaming computers. They are only $800AU in Singapore. People from all over the world go to Sim Lim to buy cheap computers. I know nothing about Linux. In Australia technology is very expensive. A cheap Hard drive is $200AU. The fastest Laptop is 8gig ram. Stuff that they give me in Singapore for free costs a fortune in Australia. I live at the Gold Coast. The cheapest house is $1.5 million. i bought my house 22 years ago $67000. Now they tell my my house costs 2 million plus and it's nothing special. The cost of living is very high in Australia.

I'm more worried about what it is collecting and sending back to Microsoft. I edited my hosts file to stop it and run everything over a VPN but I still don't think that will stop it entirely. I am planning to move to Linux with a Windows 7 VM in 2025 when they end support for Windows 10. The VM will just be needed for MusicBee and BD Rebuilder so I can cut it off from the internet.

Windows 10/11 don't like running on HDDs very much. It performs poorly on those. If you are using an HDD then that is likely the reason why.
