The whole focus of the channel is about changing the negative narrative surrounding black people. This is something that Wilfred himself told me he is trying to do hence why he called the shop the black farmer. There is so much stereotyping and discrimination in the media which is not a true reflection of our race. Due to things such as systemic racism it has unfortunately effected some people’s level of belief. The purpose of this channel is to show us in a positive light and inspire the younger generation because it’s important for them to see positive role models. It’s important to show that you can be whatever you want to be despite the challenges you face in life. Giving hope to those who feel hopeless. It is also to support black owned businesses because of the barriers faced. There is definitely no attempt to cause division but to create restoration as well as inspiration. There is a clear need for this content.

@@melanatedandproud Nonsense, Its a marketing tactic to sell more, much like the channel you've created. No race of any description is barred from opening shops in UK or from buying land to grow on. One limits themselves when they believe they are limited and there are no limitations by race in the UK, only by class, just so happens that many generational wealthy families happen to be white which is what you'd expect in European country but you'd still get people like our prime minister who's indian family came here decades ago and succeeded in what would've been a genuinely racist time that you could not compare to today. There would be just as many white kids in places like london that would think farming is out of their reach. When you start labelling things by race you are just separating people more.
