First time being here checking up on Golden Lever review. Super surprised hearing Hungarian (my home country) music starting at 0:29 :O

quiet matters most to me. i'd like to find 24mm buttons that are solid color and concave and quiet, and screw-in.

The Sanjuks big problem for me is that the levers lack a shaft cover so putting a Balltop on that shaft looks ugly.

Im coming back to fighting games. Dont care if i get bodied. I miss the feeling of landing a combo i practiced, or just winning a match. It just made me want to get better.

One thing i will add as a fighting game noob, a lot of the complex stuff you discuss (like Footsies and frame data) are mostly intuitive. Like you jump into a fighting game you know you need to look for an opportunity to attack your opponent even if you dont know what footsies is. For frame data, you know by experimentation that big special moves take a while to recover and can be punished. The best way to get better at a fighting game is just by playing the game and not being afraid to fail.

I prefer the seimitsu buttons cause they have the super fast reset like hayabusas. I still want to check out gamer fingers and qanba gravity buttons. Hopefully there's a way for me to spring load those gravity buttons cause they look great.

No lie, i was always scared to start fighting games, because of this video i played sf6 for the first time about 5 months ago. Now my entire game roater consist of fighting games such as sf6, guilty gear strive, and tekken. Ive never felt so refreshed when it came to games as most shooters were getting old and boring. Fighting games quite literally stopped me from quiting gaming. I really appreciate this video.

still waiting for the sanjuks v7 review

I have a gaming pedestal and fitted two sanwa jlf's. I had no idea how frustrating these joysticks are as they literally double-click all the time, causing input interference. I initially blamed the switches, and wasted more money buying new circuit boards, I then purchased upgraded springs and a larger set of actuators, which then caused a lack of inputs. I now have an otto v5 kit on order, and will hunt down the shuriken jlf solderless switch pcb. In other words, the sanwa is a terrible stick that is seriously flawed and has cost me triple the cost in the long run.

Learning fighting games beyond a casual's button-mashing experience has killed my love for the genre. Fighting games are such an investment to get to a level of competency so whenever you feel overwhelmed by something you have no answer for or get "scrubbed out" it feels like a huge waste. Having to do what is basically homework for a game only have no success and the solution being to do MORE homework is discouraging and not fun.

yeah nah spent over 200 hours in tekken now and only peaked in Garyu. Spent alot of time praciting against friends better than me and im not getting anywhere. This is the first Fighting game I managed to put actual effort into and im done. Im not getting better anymore im just getting discuraged and frustrated. Just gona accept that fighting games isnt for me and I should stop trying to enjoy them.

I want to give up, because I’ve never be above average. Let alone decent or good.
