Oh now we’re talking! The DX definitely has a case of “Anything goes!” for patterns. They are used pretty nicely and flow well. Probably a tougher than usual DX Hard, but has some interesting variety.

I think this is the hardest chart of the season. Glad to see you back!

The song reminds me of Entatha Dance where they try to put a catchy desert esque theme into the song. For what it’s worth, it’s pretty cool of a beat. Chart tho looks dense and even tricky in places. But just like Entatha Dance, it’s probably in the 4⭐️ tier overall.

Drops in this song sounds like mosquito that flying in my room when I try to sleep 😅

Way better and a good upgrade from the standard imo, but glad to see more monstercat songs in this game.

This is definitely an extreme! It's definitely more charted than the standard version, but this really shows how much more they could've put into the standard. Great gameplay and I hope to see more videos from you!

Now I understand they couldn’t chart much in the standard to make the DX takeover, but it’s strange to see the standard pretty easy and this more on the extreme level. Now, the DX actually looks good! Not sure if this or Drifter DX is easier, but it’s based on preference on which is easier: excessive tapping or jumping? But yeah, nice to see Monstercat still bringing in great picks.

Easiest Extreme?

Woah! Long time no see Jeric! Looks like Monstercat struck the extreme standard for the 3rd time! Sadly, To the Stars is the easiest of the three (Thrones of Bloods and Rainbow Rave Parade). However, I do think the chart works for a nice introductory extreme for newer players. So while now currently one of my least favorite Monstercat songs, both the song and chart are decent.

Beatstar Deluxe: CHYL X THIRST - Drifter [Extended version only]

I just DP’d this yesterday. Pound for pound, the worst part for me, and by a healthy margin, was the beginning of Stage 4. Not even the trills. I kept biffing the staircases either by hitting the second note too early or the third note too late, but once I really sat down and consciously tried to fix this, it fell into place. The first time I DP’d past the RLCLCLR RLCLCLR trills (another problem, as I started the second trill wrong often), I went on to get the full DP.
