      You could waste time and energy exchanging blows or you could simply push the opponent down the stairs. Evergreen Fist is not chasing hands, it's attacking your defenseless center

    It’s funny how people have an opinion on everything especially when they have no experience. Some technics are very usefull for the street and for the ring. Try to practice the Jeet Kune Do and you will know what is applicable in the Wing Chung.

    This is only useful to dance in front of a non attacking "oponent", but I do not suggest to do theses stupidities in a real fight

      It's a drill. You see only one piece of the puzzle and decry the entire image. You can't see the entire picture from just one pixel. No one wants a coach who cuts the training partner's throat duing a demonstration. Not even you. He's demonstrating control. Don't just ball up your first and punch - even a baby can do this - think about what you are doing and why. Lead your opponent into nothingness. The young idea is small at the beginning

    Gary Lamb also ran a big Thai boxing club in Hong Kong. He said wing Chun is more effective in the street and Thai boxing is more effective in the ring. He knows how to fight. He learned from Bruce Lee's main teacher Wong Shun Leung who was famous for taking on all fighters in Hong Kong Kong. Wong Shun Leung was one of Ip Man's top teachers. Don't think that Wing Chun people only know Wing Chun. Many these days are also good at MMA but for the street or for bodyguard work or for policing or for being a bouncer or jail guard, prefer Wing Chun. I have known many top fighters who this generation has never heard of.

      A lot of wing chun is centerline defense

    • @andresausecha9553
      @andresausecha9553 Před 3 lety

      Win chun is great only to attack the opponent's fists with your head. Think about this and train boxing if you do not want to be beaten hard in a real fight

    • @Realest636

      @@andresausecha9553 Bruce Lee incorporated principles of wing chun into American boxing. Centerline define and the counter/parry, are ideas that are used to great success, in American boxing. Check out Anderson Silva v Bisbing. Anderson incorporated Wing Chun, into his repertoire.
