      😆 It was a suggestion by a regular / follower here as an OS to take a look at, and since no longer is even being updated, I can't recommend it anyways. Was mostly curious to check out the encryption wizard. Definitely recommend Tails over this. For many reasons.

    Do you know how to decode digital signals like TDMA? I want to monitor the power company since we just got hit by a hurricane and there are millions of power outages, my Pro-97 scanner appears to be too old, I tried airspy in windows with no luck using SDR, but maybe some GQRX or commandline wizardry can monitor them all using digital decoder binary. Know whats funny? I was able to monitor a security camera just by pivking up its signal via commandline once and it was not even CCTV it was a wifi camera... It just had signal leakage... but you have to find the video decoding algo and radio frequency and I forgot what command line thing I used but it worked and through a brick wall

      Haven't taken a look at what you are trying to do, but might find something searching rtl-sdr.com or radioreference, or hackaday. Another thing I like to do is search the closed issues on hackrf github to see what others may have tried, in case those sites help at all. All kinds of power issues going on lately from what I hear!

    Hey I have a "ghostpad" I want to sell the guy who set it up removed IME and put an atheros card and disabled the nvidea hdmi and put all open source drivers I am thinking. Anyway, I never used it much and thought you may be interested in examining the setup.... It is an elaborately modified T420 and he even upgraded the processor to like i7. I can give a discount and its the seytronics or seytonic on ebay that made it.

      I am not sure about why yours would be missing any apps - maybe you got a clone where they implemented custom firmware, without all apps. Hard to say based on the comment. Only thing one might try, is reflashing firmware with official mayhem, which should carry it... but there are warnings that some clones may use custom firmware.

    So what is the point of this besides looking at pretty patterns?

    • @RTPTechTips
      @RTPTechTips Pƙed 5 dny

      LOL - it can be pretty. 😄 Compared to audio app, looking glass offers more of a "birds eye view" for scanning / viewing much larger range of signals all at once. And ability to flip through various preset entire ranges quickly, to immediately observe entire range fit into the screen (ie: wifi, shortwave, FM radio), crowding, strong signals areas you may like to take a closer look at. When you have a plan for your radio - or even use this app to assist plan using another radio, it can help visualize much broader range than other apps. Really, lots of uses and app provides nice place to start exploring.

      New "Industrial Revolution" (#4IR) for related economical / investment interests, Lobby for privatization of gov resources under #PublicPrivatePartnership cooperatives (privatization immune to FOIA requests) government adoption, regulation pushes out the power of open source AI (open source AI being pushed now as "too dangerous", they call open source "unsecured AI" - regulation holds back open source, lobbied for by private AI firms like Open AI). Promote AI hype campaigns for good measure (save climate via requisite monitoring / surv built in energy tech), frequently mention / warn of economic / strategic "risk of being left behind" w/out adoption. Oligarchs seek / finance multi-state relationships of cooperative infrastructure / defense interdependence, to ensure no "getting out", corporate capture of gov's complete. AI becomes "all knowing" to the average person, and rewrites history, encapsulating us in the Matrix. The end. đŸ€Ș

      Regarding this app: explore more of what is out there from more of a "bird's eye view" (instead of a very limited closeup, as seen in portapack audio app). Having overall larger field of vision / visual on screen, when scanning range of interest, can bring something of interest to your attention faster once comfortable. From there, can listen on top of it as shown in video demo, or, can use any number of apps to record, analyze, manipulate, transmit. Up to user.

    a wireless wifi antenna and an sdr are the best alarm system you can create, something like kismet keeping track off devices and plot their coordinates to an openstreetmap or alternative, i dont need to waste storahe space for video evidence etc yadayadayafa that is an extra attack vector, but if my logs show an myaudi or mybmw broadcast for a certan ap with a timestamp you know more than you can find out with a camera system... they can tey to monitor me. but i can defend and push back bause their technology is so flawed that it will eventually cancel out their surveilance

      Yep. These days can make more sense in some cases than simple video - which can be disabled more easily than the 'listening' avenues. I have something to listen to device identifiers on motion detection in case camera isn't enough. It's a good idea. Thanks for your comment!

      @@RTPTechTips i have quite a few of those nifty caunter surveilance and counter inteligence techniques, i will start working on documenting it all and try to share my knowledge. and atm it is not about privacy or being anonymous but about having certain knowledge and how to acr on certain events, for example if the 4chanpartyvan gets detected at the border of my private geofence, and i am able to track it with a few rasberry pi's planted in stratigic locations i know stuff is up. it is actually quite easy for an authist like me to understand these technologies. but i have trouble trying to even get people interested because they think it is to difficult but it can all be learned in a week inclusive the programming your own python scripts. well when they implement chatcontrol they should check the datacenter in holland at hollands kroon before trying to impose mass surveilance because 80% of csam is hosted in holland. maybe also worth checking out cyberwar witj the nl tld /d knowledge is power and if you think you know enough, you are lost. the first thing that will happen if they implement chatcontrol is that the csam hosted in holland will be linked to some devices as the whole department of justice is involved in the csam stuff. and all it takes is a hash to trigger the allarmbells.. it is just a matter of sending a password protected zip with a trigger in it, person opens it, gets raided cuz of csam. kek cannot wait for that stuff to happen.

      What gets me is they want exemptions from this mass scanning encryption subverting system. They obviously don't trust the danger they wish to impose on everyone else. Such hypocrites!

    Thanks for the shoutout! Apparently even if you don’t have npu ai pre-encryption scanning, if you communicate to a device that does have it, they can still pre scan your shit. Also, if we use personal router and not the isp provided router, the isp still has you download a firmware update that could potentially open your modem/router up to a network tap. They are working to control everything.

      Definitely. Unfortunately as well as that, to relate, also with e2ee encryption another consideration is readability occurs on both device screens in conversations e2ee (example: screenshots of entire screen of convo on *either* side.). Around 06:05 I start sharing thoughts on this, and encryption being "only as secure as our weakest link". I'll probably talk more about routers sometime and thoughts there. Companies making quite a bit money out there.

    The fact that you feel compelled to make comments on drugs against them would be considered a "chilling effect on free speech." There is this bit in the Quran about using the enemies sword against the infidel, Obama gave a speech on the non-white world uniting against the white world, good luck finding it. There is considerable abuse of the system in an effort to destroy the existing system, which would probably get replaced by something low-tech resembling the 1770's. That is the current geopolitical environment. Another thing to consider about wifi mapping is the difficulty of hiding things in your home.

      To tell you the truth I mostly state that as I want to avoid attracting comments promoting such. And avoid anything outside lawful comments. So it wasn't intended to tell anyone how to think or speak in general. Definitely never state people should or should not do or support anything (as someone w/runs a channel - I make clear this channel criticizing war on drugs very clearly not supporting d - to avoid attracting knuckleheads w/ask really dumb questions that could harm chan rep). Simply a disclaimer that by criticizing war on drugs I am not promoting anything. Critique on w.o.d. is 100% about consequences to liberties here. And that is the general meaning of the comment on video. Politically, believe only solution is legalize and regulate, to save our liberties (given court precedents erode all of our rights by court precedent - affecting what's left of our rights w/pulled over, etc). I actually respect everyone's viewpoint. Not telling anyone anyone how to think here. 👍 But I do consciously and certainly want to avoid comments promoting d and don't want anyone to ever ask questions related to illicit market or anything like that - that's definitely not the intent of this channel. Keep everything clearly legal in intent. It's a channel only about protecting our liberties, tips for legal behavior (maybe to scare off anyone interested in anything outside that since that becomes an issue - but I am not a lawyer personally). Have to protect channel from the wrong impression.

      Have some ideas there. 😉 100% right on the nose about comments being 'conditional' IME. I also understand everyone has to make a living - I have friends who do all kinds of work. And fully respect everyone. I'm not against anyone at all. Just am passionate on subjects / liberties I'm concerned about the overall end direction of. To the troll who may not appreciate content here: I don't judge them. I enjoy making content, like a video format podcast / expressive art. Sometimes have to share thoughts / concerns on these things. It's the destination I'm more concerned about. I appreciate your comment.
