I always wondered why Neil Armstrong immediately after returning from the moon, in a press conference, said that he "didn't recall seeing any stars" while being on the moon surface but later claimed that "the starry sky looked amazing from the moon"? Did he forget which it was?
The Apollo missions used the stars to navigate by, it was the photographs taken on the surface where stars aren’t visible. Remember that the lunar surface is in full sunlight. The camera settings required to get good pictures in full, unfiltered sunlight are considerably different than they would be for stars against a black sky, meaning that the much dimmer starts wouldn’t be visible at all in conditions set up for taking pictures on the surface..

What was the question Sir Patrick Moore asked at the press conference? Armstrong gave the appropriate answer when he said he couldn't see stars while looking at the solar corona.

He was much more certain than that: Armstrong: "We were never able to see stars from the lunar surface or on the daylight side of the moon by eye without looking through the optics. I don’t recall, during the period of time that we were photographing the solar corona, what stars we could see”. This simple statement fair screams at you that they must have seen stars from the night-time side of the Moon - which is what any quote about "an amazing starry sky" is referring to. Think before you post.

God knows us and knows what is best for us thats why he does not let us do everything Example your parents dont allow you to do everything because they know its bad.Soon god will come and then everyone will regret leaving jehova which is sad because you wont live forever. I know we all SUFFER and have hard times in life and ask JEHOVA GOD help me why are you not helping me and when will you stop all of this but jehova is and will jehova is giving us a chance and other people because he cares and does not want people to die hes love us. IF JEHOVA DIDENT LOVE US HE WOULD MAKE US SLAVES AND WE WOULD OBEY HIM AND BE UNHAPPY BUT NO JEHOVA DIDENT DO THAT HE IS GIVING US A CHANCE SO WE CAN LIVE HAPPILY GO BACK TO JEHOVA LIKE IN ONE OF THE SCRIPTURE ITS SAYS ( DRAW CLOES TO ME AND I WILL DRAW CLOES TO YOU )

As a student of epistemology for well over three decades, this presentation was remarkably painful to listen to... given that we're apparently supposed to see her as some sort of "arbiter of truth", there were so many unexamined premises that she built her "truth" claims on. Maybe she delves deeper into these premises within her book/s, but any first year student of philosophy should be able to immediately recognize that most of this interview was merely a series of claims made about "truth" that were undefined and undefended... as well as no general methodology provided as to how to differentiate between "truth" and "non-truth".
For example, here are some "Big Questions" that Naomi Klein failed to answer in relation to "conspiracy theories": 1)What do we know? 2)What does it mean to say that we know something? 3)What makes justified beliefs justified? 4)How do we know that we know?

As eventcone points out, there were 6 actual landings. As for fakes, it depends what you mean. If you think George Melies's 1902 film A Trip To The Moon counts as a fake, then yes, there have been fakes. But it would be impossible to fake it and get away with it.

Human beings are so sad, we are literally poisoning ourselves. This doesn't even cover all the pesticides and harmful chemicals in food and products we are using and consuming on a daily basis. People need to wake up and realise this society is making people sick, and start rebelling through making good choices.
