This guy really knows how to talk over his guests! 😱
Saw here & Now several times, mostly at Manchester Poly, got to stand beside him in the gents, lol. He was wearing bright red cord trousers, very cool! His trousers that is, not standing in the gents!
Dave Anderson was in Amon Duul II and Hawkwind and in a later incarnation of Groundhogs

love hearing all the formative music and experiences from one of my favorite guitarists. got to see dog faced hermans a few times during their US tour in 1995? i had discovered their record Mental Blocks For All Ages at my college radio station KZSU, where i had been playing it. Some of the best shows I've ever seen. Also got to see the Ex in SF in 1990/91 at Klub Kommotion.
Young crush of mine our Candy. I was a wee lad , but she stirred something deep. Sigh....
Wow this is fabulous! Most interesting and indepth interview of Prince Stash. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Yes, Rose comes across very clearly, David ‘s mumbling can be properly interpreted by use of the transcript. Otherwise a fascinating insight into life with the ISB, thanks to Rose’s still excellent memory.
Thanks for the most in depth interviews with names + details. telepathic.regards
Great! Please interview Amnie again soon about her opening with Rick Wakeman March 2024

Thanks for this nice and informative interview with the exceptional guitarist Tony Hill. R.I.P. Tony🙂🎸🎶
I said from the very start to record the album old style but it was you tim that wanted it recorded how it eas recorded because you wanted remixes But yeah nigle wasnt the right guy.. plus the band was run by des.. no one had a say about what went on.. mostly. Obviously the band did have say..but if des got into liams ear then what them two said went..
Didn't des manage a band called Arnold got them a deal of some kind and ripped them off..
No, they ripped him off, but yes the first part you are correct, he got them the deal and a rather healthy deal it was too! That was really bad the way they treated him after what he did for them…
In 2005 we got the band back together without Darren penny because Darren penny is seriously bad news.. and Darren penny was completely sick as a dog when he found out that I John tuvey got us back together..when Darren told Danny from turnmills he could get the band back together..but des couldn't get the band together because des don't fly stright. Des was gonna get Liam obviously and Joe Tim I guess, des wasn't gonna ask me to play drums, des has serious issues with John tuvey.. so when I got the band together, it was said des would not be anywhere near the come back.. he talks about members getting clean thats what I tried to do and he told the other band members I'd left.. he talks about drugs messing up the band, des was taking smack and spending all the bands money.. and he had no say about jacko leaving the band, it was Joe and Tim. I'd love to be interviewed by this guy I'd tell him some facts.. the truth about Mr Darren penny..
The reason the band spilt was because of you and the smack yes des you messed up the band.. you tried to replace me with lies, yeah you got Andy better drummer but wasn't right for flowered up..when you got rid of me..Liam wasn't into it anymore
I wish people could hear the utter rubbish he's telling this fella.. 😂😂😂 what a loud of crap.. des you for real.. your telling Terry story about the clash. You was never there..😂😂😂
What a manager.. he rip all the band off.. smack head crack head.. sold all the bands equipment, even stoll Tim keyboards and blamed it on the drummer when he left.. he's hated by so many people. And had to get off regents pk because des was living in fear of getting battered by big Fred.. remember des when me and Benson came to your mums gaff.. you went white with fear.. des is full of shit, he never went to the jam gig.. this fella believes he's lies, it's so funny listern to this bollocks.. des is just a ponce.. lived off Terry mac.. yes he can chat that's it.. 😂 utter crap..des get a life. Stop taking them drugs.. this friend funded your life style
I enjoyed that but goodness doesn't David mumble at times!

Cannot WAIT for this book. Hardly ever interested in musician autobiographies - just Bernard Sumner's and this!
Too long.
You don't have to listen to all of it, you know.
Too short
Great interview with Terry
Gun Club being an east LA Latino band - lol. Terry did your book ever get published?
Well the band was created by Jeffrey & Kid Congo, who are both Mexican-American.
23:30 She refers to an "album" with Ova - has anyone seen that album? "Ova - Universal Audio" is a 3 track EP, and there is mention of a 4 track "private demo" on an old Geocities page, with tracks "Big Deal", "I Don't Wanna Be Loved By You", "Won't Be Long" and "No One Like You" but no album. Also - does anyone have that 4 track "private demo"?
31:45 I wonder what on Earth she doesn't like about "Coming Up Roses"!! That album is fabulous. The arrangements much better suit her voice than the Faith Over Reason ones. There are quite a few stand out tracks on that album, in my opinion. "Would You Be Good", her later version of "Northern Sky", "Stars", "Wish You Peace" and her later version of "Unsure".
Thanks for this great ‘Terry Tales’
This is absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much for posting this.
Really enjoyed listening to that crazy rebellious Statham chap. It was a total joy playing in his first real band - miming to T.Rex and Mott The Hoople on stage at our Primary School. Ha ha ha
My God she goes on and on before getting to anything interesting.
Zero comments...? So, where can I find this Kenny Harris - interview ?
(Robin Williams?)
@@petefinch818 Unless he's already gone to that great log cabin in the sky he's probably still out there playing unless, like me, his fingers have become too erthritic. I don't play the guitar by the way or the harp.
No, Robin Williamson.
If she played the intro to Black Jack David she's earned her stripes but ISB was Mike Heron and the other one whose name I can't remember right now to my shame.
Robin
Robin Williamson
OOPS! He could be dead now from old age as could I, I'm 76+9 months 'young.' I loved their music till around 1970 when 'Wee Tam & The Big Huge' was out. They went a bit too weird after that for me. I only hope their early music never gets forgotten. There should be an ISB Rememberance Society set up to protect their beautiful magic music from extinction.@@andykent7818
Listen to the music love you thank you
Really interesting interview--thank you for doing this. However, the audio definitely needs a boost, particularly for the interviewer. Had to back up several times to understand what he was saying, and my volume was maxed.
