@@hbmogtenor A lot of them follow a bit of a theme, but basically you can select two or more monsters to fuse together to make stronger monsters. The big one to note is the Twin Headed Thunder Dragon, made a few ways, but mainly by making a 1600+ ATK dragon and fusing with a thunder. A few other early ones involve fusing females, plants, and beasts among other monsters.

@@spacerocket0005 sounds like you might be playing the ILM a bit too late, meaning youre already sliding down the pipes when the ILM gets played

@@marathonmanspeedruns I’ve experimented with when to play them. I tried to play them a fraction of a second coming off the ground, I tried to play them while over the pipes (without landing on them) and etc. idk because I remember doing this on my ps3 a couple years ago and idk why it just doesn’t work now. I even attempted my wallaper punching glove move mechanic with the cutscenes and I can’t even do those. I think smth is wrong with my movies

@@fernandezyann294 It allows for a trick called jankpot, which is what allowed me to break all of those crates at the end and get about 4000 bolts instead of the normal 800 or so. Reload, kill a dog and don’t collect its bolts, then break all of the big crates in a specific way. Extremely useful for this run!!

@@Spl1sh_SplAAsh135 You might not be letting go of the analog stick soon enough, it can definitely be a tricky thing to time and when I was grinding NG+ heavily even with practice Id still lose runs to it.

There is also a chance you just simply don't have enough speed to long jump at all, which is more a matter of practicing walloper and PDA spacing.

ive been trying for hours, and i remember watching this a year ago and trying on the pcsx2 emulator, does it only work on the actual ps3

Best advice I can give you is 1. Try and pay close attention to where I pause the game in regards to the walloper punch, some where in between the punch starting and the punch ending should give you the best velocity 2. the faster you act out of the ILM the more speed you will retain when doing your movement directly after (such as the double jump I do here) glad the videos have been helpful!!

Ive played this game conventionally more times than I can count, this is just a different, more abstract way to play.

Ok so I definitely read this comment incorrectly the first time. Sorry if that last comment came off as odd. A lot of these were initially found by a runner named Silence over 10 years ago, with modifications and other things being found and implemented over the years. A lot of them were accidents or really creative minds thinking outside the box.

@@marathonmanspeedruns oh, sorry if it came across the wrong way 😅 I find watching people speedrun in a game with various whacky tricks pretty fun, can’t believe how much trial and error finding some of these cuts must be! Was pretty interesting to see how much of the game could just be straight up skipped. Great run!

Which part are you having issues with? And which version are you playing on?

@@marathonmanspeedruns nvm i tried it the other day and did it, i need to switch the game's Hz to 60, for some reason when it was on 50 the proxy wasnt too high up

@@ash3s oh yeah that will do it. its possible to make it in 50hz but waaaaay more difficult. glad you figured it out!!
