2012 GMC Sierra, 6.0L longtubes, true dual straight pipes! EXTREMELY LOUD!!
This is 2012 Sierra right after my engine swap. I swapped a 5.3 with DOD out for an L96 6.0L out of a 2500HD. Still have to tweak the tune. This is a cold start.

My truck is not currently like that. I had just got the motor put in and was waiting on my flow masters to come in. My truck was only that loud for a couple of weeks. This video was stories to give prove an idea what a 6.0 sounded like with with long tube headers and straights.

I would like to know if it threw any codes, what they were, and what you did to remedy them so theres not the infamous check engine on all the time.
It did throw a code but I got it tuned out so the truck is not looking for catalytic converters
@@brittbarnes568 So that was it? It was looking for the bank 2 O2 sensors. Good to know. I wanna get that massive barrel canister thing out from under there. But I will probably go with a high flow cat and Flowmasters or Borla. Thanks for the reply bud. Happy motoring.

That is honestly gross. Like I respect the build but the sound....bleghhhhb. At lease run some high flow cats and maybe some cherry bomb extreme mufflers or super 10s
That was before I put any mufflers oh my truck. The only reason I posted the video was to give people an idea what it would sound like if they wanted to do something similar. I have flowmasters on it now because it was too loud. Besides, not that I owe you or anyone an explanation.
@@brittbarnes568 yea no i wasn't tryna hate on the truck or anything, just i lived in North Carolina for a year and that's all i heard and the guys that drove it were even worse. but i do like the truck and build just have a dis-taste for that crackly popping sound and stuff. no disrespect meant or anything
