Hello. Thank you for this informative video. We are back in our beautiful island right now, but this time with our 1 yr old bebe. Someone recommended going with him yesterday and though I always wanted to visit here, I'm not sure about with bebe. How long would you say it took to get to the waterfall walking? From video seems like 10 min or so. Also, the first part of water you went in, do we have to do that to get to fall, or is it all paved to it? Thank you so much for this video and if you could share insight.
@@des212223 thats awesome and I’m glad to know you want to visit this beautiful place and honestly is a very short walk to the first waterfall but there is stairs to it, they’re a bit incline but it’s not so bad I’m sure the hubby can do a bit of workout 😂 and the second one which is the upper waterfall is the one you got to walk about ten minutes to it which is also beautiful to see, hope you can make it there and enjoy it I will be in the area on Friday I have some family members visiting the island from Jersey
@@des212223 and you don’t I made the video showing the furthers waterfalls first but there is one at the beginning the trails and just reminder stay alert for flash flooding it is a mountain area and it usually rains a lot up in the mountains during the afternoons, just stay alert

@@shirleyromero1235 mira en septiembre el agua en esta playa si tienden hacer un poco más caliente pero siempre es súper agradable para disfrutar un día de playa. Pero hay otras playas que son más activas en oleaje y son más refrescantes

Well those are the steps you may follow but it’s certainly not mine 😂 it’s everyone responsibilities to take care of wherever they step foot at.
We are Big Island fans. We avoid fancy hotels and condos. We like the Hilo/Volcanoes area the best and we've been there many many times. We love the Volcanoes area. There are plenty of less expensive places to stay. The volcano is Kilauea & there is lots of great hiking. The other side-Kona is lovely, but we just go there for the beach. The food everywhere is just great.
We agree too, we stayed in the area of pahoa before and it was way less but we wanted to explore the area of Kona and we opted to stay at a luxury hotel but honestly it was too expensive for what they offer so it’s definitely our last time we do it 😂 but we definitely love the other side of the island more
We have been to the Big Island many, many times over the last 30 years. We bought a condo south of Kona last year (Country Club Villas #332) and love it. We have explored the whole island, but you gave us a few new places to try!

When was this shot? What time you guys arrived at the park? I am planning to head out there in 2 weeks and i wonder what time i should leave the hotel going to the park . Thanks
This was shot last week on Thursday and yes I do recommend to at least try getting there by 7 am the latest because we arrived around 8:00 am and there was a huge line to enter the park. Also the Parking down by the valley was already full, so we parked far away and hope on the shuttle to stop 16 for the mist trail

@@ehryckmercado4090 ahh the smoke was a bit bad in the morning but towards noon it clear out sunset was beautiful from the lookout after the tunnel but we’re a bit tired from the hike so we didn’t stop to film, we stood in Fresno we did Airbnb there because we also wanted to do sequoia National park and the was the next big city in between both parks our Airbnb was pretty good too. But idk what’s your plans and how many days your stay around

@@ehryckmercado4090 ooh yeah that’s more than enough, you’ll be able to see all the waterfalls from down below, it’s a very beautiful place to explore and relax, I believe Yosemite falls it’s pretty short and easy hike and you can get super close to the waterfall
