@@shorelinerach01 Thank you. The handlebar is from Nitto.
Did you have to cut the length of the kickstand? I’m running 26” tyres and have seen some folk cut off a bit of the stand.
@@RedGoneRiding I’ve tried 26*1.9 and 2.3 tyres on this LHT and it seems the kickstand is a fraction larger in any of these combo. But I’m not too worried about it because when stopping my bike on the loose surfaces the longer legs helps maintain the stability.
@@zero_g_716 that’s fair. I’m running stock 26” ETs on my Disc Trucker, installing it on my own so I’m hoping I don’t need to shave an inch off the stands cause I don’t have the tools for it. I’ll see how I get on, secretly hoping you’re right that it’ll be fine.

@@zero_g_716 Tried installing it but failed. I have a feeling the bolt is either too long, or I just don’t have the skills(strength) to tightened it well enough to not interfere with the rear derailleur cables. It’s still loose and jiggles a bit despite having tightened it down. Off to the LBS for me. 😓

Would this fit on my 2011 Trek 520?

Thanks for your comment! The frame is from a Taiwanese brand VELOCI's Roadmance. BB, headset and stem spacers are from White Industries. Hope Pro 5 hubs with Spaim spokes and Velocity Aileron rims. Brake callipers are Pual Kalmper with Veloci's centre-lock rotors and handlebar. The seatpost is from Nitto S92. Garburak's crankset, cassette and derailleur cage + pulley wheels. Please let me know if I missed anything. Cheers

Hey - awesome build. I bought one of these frames in 80s disco blue but have yet to build it up. Can't decide between 650b or 700c, and I noticed you used 700c wheels - it looks like the clearance is pretty tight in the fork. Does that bother you?
Hi thanks for liking the video. Honestly, even with 700*43c tyres, there’s still plenty of room left. I think this frame might even take a 48mm wide tyre. But I’ll leave you to figure it out. Cheers
@@zero_g_716 I've got this frame. The forks tire clearance is indeed tight, I would say 700x42c is max. The frame, on the other hand has more space. It's pity they (Veloci) didn't pair the frame with VELOCI No.05 CR-MO Steel Fork instead.

你好，这个要分几个方面说： 1. 我最早用Veloci花鼓的顾客大概是半年前，到目前为止的骑量有限，还不好判断花鼓的耐久度； 2. 每个品牌花鼓上市之前都会经过各种设计、测试和调整过程，我相信市面上绝大多数花鼓用来通勤都没问题，哪怕是最平价的禧玛诺花鼓； 3. 这些客制化组装是我个人接的私活，且目前我已经不在国内生活； 4. 如果你想更多了解Veloci的花鼓表现如何，可以看看墨尔本的Commuter Cycles，或者直接的方法，去台湾工厂参观。 希望以上能帮到你。

I hate how surly used a 26 inch wheel for up to 56cm frame sizes. Nearly all other companies are using 700c for 52 on up sizes. This is why i went with the kona sutra
