This is my personal best and also the world record for the "any%" category (Act 1, Enhanced) as of 6/10/15. Timing from selecting a character to start level 1 to completing the final level (finishing the car-opening animation and having the screen fade to black).

This happens when you start the level by grabbing a friendly officer's horse, rather than spawning your own. An easy mistake to make on this particular level with all the horses sitting there, so something to watch out for :)

Kcspot tweaked my ledge hop glitch earlier which abuses save & quit to trick the game, and in this case actually tricks it to let you hop a second time in mid air to get over ledges that should normally be way too high to hop over. I've been trying to do the Pro ring race on this stage today with Tidal Blade to unlock one of it's skins... it's friggin' impossible to get a gold! The waves are so choppy in the open water bit, I fly right over the top of the rings unless I slow right down.
I was kind of expecting a proper speed run. Oh well.

CE DX+ was released a few years after this video was uploaded. But the "+" was just a minor upgrade/rebrand and was essentially the same identical game again, so it would indeed look just like this :)

The IA is really different because the ghost train affects former ghosts. I think they try to avoid the ghost train in order to not become part of the train or being slowed down. So we often encounter the main 4 ghosts from corners instead of them pursuing us.
I will consider this game as a remastered version of the very first Pac-Man game! Im very hooked for this 8 years old game!

Such fluid movement. I used the eating the ghost method and shaved 1:10 off of my time..still stuck in the 3:40+ but my movement is not nearly as fluid as yours was.
