• My name is Frank & my profession is serving as a firefighter in my community. Strength training & nutrition is not only my passion & obsession but it also has direct benefits for my line of work. I'm always continually trying to improve upon my strength training workouts & nutrition. I've learned from trying out different methods & nutrition.
• From my experience I believe that the average person doesn't want to do what's considered a traditional gym workout. For the past couple decades I've studied, researched, & experimented with untraditional or outside of the box workouts which, many of you can do right from your own home at little to no cost at times. Whatever circumstance you're in, where ever you live, or whatever fitness level you're at, there's always a way to workout in a way that's more suited for you in your unique situation.
• I'd love to share with you what I hope will change your point of view of strength training & nutrition & give you a fresh perspective on things.

Neck +back lift

Sorry battery died. This is a great lift for back and neck. I wanted to push another rep but getting wiser as I age. With movements like this "grinders" are not adding any benefits.
H.I.T hip belt squats.

I'm doing legs with the hip belt and also a exercise for adding more strain on tear drop of quads. I had to silent the video because of copyright infringement. Remember stay strong. Not just physically but mentally too!
Nice one
The delift machine is a sick idea lol. Love that. Need to get myself a heavier sandbag. I made a 100lb one with some gravel I had in my garage, but I'm ready for something heavier now for sure
Nice flannel and jeans. They fit You
This is a fantastic ideas thanks. Just been playing around in my shed, I've been able to make a similar device for my one inch plates out of a threaded one inch dumbbell. Works brilliantly, this is so much better and real world applicable than a standard barbell deadlift in my opinion. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I love it doing deadlifts this way. I'm happy that you can do it too. Let me we know how it goes.
Nicely done bro
Appreciate it!
Nice one

Awesome stuff!!!!!
How heavy you think the rock is?
Around 150lbs (70 kilos)
@@strengthequalsii626 yeah it's definitely close to that. I have one that is around 130 lbs close to that size.
Google says Dwayne Johnson is 260 pounds.
@@goldenknightsfanatic Dwayne is The Rock. This is just a rock.
Good effort
Big movements! 🔥 Impressive work! Do you have an estimate on the bag weight?
I know exactly. 125lbs
Love the intensity!
Intensity!
Nice work!
I love just having big rocks, the fields occasionally find river rocks here so I have abundance of stuff to pick up and put back down. I like your setup
You seem to be in great shape Frank! 💪
Thanks. I try! Biggest thing for me is try to live the way God ask us to do. We'll have happier healthy lives because of it.
Love the video man. I'm surprised nobody else has commented yet, get ups are brutal no matter which version but they're so good to do. I've been playing around with barbell zercher get ups myself lately
Great workout. If I had to narrow it down to only doing one exercise then I'd choose sandbag to shoulder, anyone who can do multi reps with 200lb plus is strong as bull! Works so many muscles plus real world crossover.
100% Agree!
What kind of machine is that? I like it.
I made it. I call it the D.liftmachine.
Just put bags of sand or something else heavy in a backpack and do this, also it hits a lot better when you do them on pushup handles, feels almost like a bench press.
That definitely is a good idea! After 100lbs gets floppy on your back. However you got to make it work somehow. If that all you got go for it!
👍👍👍
Just listen to your body be patient guys💪
Your the man brother!!
Thanks!
Sand bag lifting can aid you with all sports and jobs cause of fitness stamina strength balance combined
Jangos unchained 😅
I just got 160 pounds of sand four bags of 40 pound even one of them is heavy and gets your heart rate up.i cant imagine lifting six of them ever .thats over 18 stone 🤨 this guy is an ox
Good going!
Thanks!
Brother, do you train your intellect brains? if you coach, then
What is the weight of that stone
Jesus dude. That’s impressive as hell
This is great work, you are strong as a bull! How often do you do this workout?
Thanks. I train this lift once every 2.5 weeks.
I'm new to your channel. Has the sandbag lifting helped your firefighting career?
Yes definitely! Just getting stronger definitely has helped my firefighting career. It has helped with staying healthy and capable. The sandbags definitely add a realistic aspect to firefighting to my strength training. And overall keeping my body healthy and capable in "awkward" positions. Thanks for watching and for the question. Are you a firefighter?
@@strengthequalsii626 I was, for 25 years. Am a fire inspector now
Where you at? I'm full time in Massachusetts.

Hey man i love your station. I weigh 175 pounds what weight bag should i start with for dead lifts, zurcher squats and shoulder press do you recommend?
Depending where your current strength is right now. If you can start with 50lbs I would start there for learning technique. Go for 15 reps. Then start to challenge yourself with 10 reps sets. The goal is really body weight and beyond. I'm at 195lbs and that bag weighs 220lbs.
Great workout man. That's an old school no cheat way of getting strong from the core out!!!!
If you want to build any muscle you're gonna have to do more than pick it up 5 times... Lol
I disagree. This isn't the only thing that is done for muscle building. This is part of a larger program. It's not always about building muscle. Being able to lift awkward stuff will build muscle, but it creates a tougher body. There are more concentrated methods to build muscle, but they don't create this kind of strength. Thanks for watching!
I agree with you! What you are doing for gains is more than adequate to put on strength and muscle!! Is it HARD ENOUGH? Is it ENOUGH TIME UNDER TENSION? Yes, absolutely it is!!
This will create strength fitness explosive power
Simple, effective as usual. Have you ever thought about converting the D lift machine to a rack attachment? I think you'd need some holes on the side of the rear beams, stick a rod through that would hold it and that's it. When not in use, you could simply fold it up to the wall/garage door behind.
Yeah that would work for some movemens. There are things that I use it for, that I don't think that will work though.
I click your Instagram link but it says the page is removed.
Will lifting stones help strengthen my wrist?
Yes definitely! The hands and wrist are definitely the weak link in the lift. They will get the most stimulus for growth.
I clicked on your Instagram link but it says it was removed. Do you have a messenger app so I can communicate progress with you.?
Yeah I don't have IG. If you want to reach me you can email me at Bigbadbronx@hotmail.com
