This film would've had a completely different meaning if it had released just a few years later.

It's still fascinating to me that, this movie never was in test screenings. Lot of movies like Short Circuit, Dark Crystal, and Army Of Darkness had change some of the scenes because test audience didn't like them. But this movie never went there. Movie might be loved, hated or something in between, but it still interesting what might happen to movie if test audience never got a chance to change it. If there is more movies like this that never went to the test screenings, let me know.

Godzilla 1998 by Luc Besson and King Kong 2005 by Peter Jackson, the best films about Godzilla and King Kong.

Never until now did I realize that this Godzilla movie had three iconic voice actors of The Simpsons in Hank Azaria, the camera guy in the movie (4:58), Harry Shearer - reporter, and Nancy Cartwright - his Harry's Shearer's secretary role (4:12). Must have been a fun set!
