Haven’t watched the video yet but I skimmed through the list and was pleasantly surprised by the results! So many people would list species that just aren’t suitable for a 10 gallon tank due to their size and/or activity level, but this list seems to be pretty decent for the most part 👍

What do you think about a Balloon molly with a male Betta? I love the Cory catfish because they don’t go after the algae that my Zebra Nerite snail wants. The snail is my algae eater, and I want to make sure it has enough to eat. So, I just want some bottom feeders or non-competitive others.

If your goldfish has bladder problems and cannot stay upright, try feeding the fish chopped up peas for 2 to 3 days. This usually helps

How is 20-30 gallons required if the fish to tank ratio is 1" per 1 gallon of water. That means the minimum of 20 gallons is fit for a 20" fish? Or 30 gal 30" ??? 👍

I have 3 in a tank with a dojo, the problem is the temp. I have had them 3 years, the temp is 75. I tried to pick a medium temp where all can live happily. The clown loaches stay together and play a lot.

I have 40 gallons, heavily planted, and a school of 6. Tank is shared with 1 pleco, some shrimp, and snails. I keep it around 80F. I have a lot of surface plant cover as well, with a full spectrum light that automatically does day/night cycles including dusk/dawn color shifting. I have an air bubbler, but the only filtration is from the abundant plants. I do water about once a week. I have fed them live (daphnea) twice a month or so apart and they love it. Otherwise, it's your standard store bought stuff. However, I have about 6 different kinds of store bought food- blood worms, flakes, dried shrimp, granules, etc. that I rotate, so they always have something interesting to eat. With those conditions, my catfish spawned and I didnt even know it. I believe they/the tankmates ate most of the eggs, but I have seen tiny fry hiding in the thickest parts of the plants. Yay accidental babies! I'm absolutely delighted, as so many resources say it's so hard to get them to spawn.

I followed instructions; and had already had happy fish, when i added the ‘’stress coat w aloe’’ by the about 6 hours my fishies were drown :( i do not recommend. I’ve been using for ever the tetra brand; tetra brand have neeeever had any issues. :(

Curiosity questions. 1. Which ones can be kept together in a tank? Like if I have Neon Tetras qm I am to have anything else in the tank? 2. I am hoping to get back into it, but my apartment complex only allows for a 10 gallon tank. The last time I was part of it, I had a 50 gallon. So, I am trying to figure out what will work with what. How many fish of different types I can keep in the same tank, the right tank cleaners/algae eaters to have with them, stuff like that. Because I want to have a community tank, but maybe have a fish that can be the showpiece of it. But I want to know what works with what...because I am basically relearning everything. I also have to keep it budget friendly. I say this because I am not sure if I have 6 of one or 3 of another if I can have all of that in a 10 gallon tank. Because I know that I shouldn't just have all top feeders, or bottom feeders. It takes a mix. I was thinking of about a Kuhli Loach, and then maybe some Tetras and Chilli Rasboras, with a couple of snails or ghost shrimp or maybe both to keep the tank clean so I don't have to change the water out so often. I won't be getting any of this for awhile yet. But want to plan for it. So any help I can get I would appreciate. Thank you.

Just got my first one - been waiting along time as I had a purple dottyback (the Lucifer of the tank!) who was extremely aggressive. Well my new boy ain’t one bit shy and hangs out with the other 3. Beautiful fish and finally peace:)

Yeah weird...I have the complete opposite issue....cant keep Neon Tetras alive but can happily keep Cardinal Tetras with no issue
