I remember going to do a refrigeration job in a kebab takeout just after Greece won the Euros and I said to the owner “you must be happy about Greece winning the European Cup” not knowing that A: he was Turkish and B: the Turks and Greeks really hate each other! My true love is Juventus and I’ve supported them since the 89/90 season even though Milan had their dream team with Guillet, Van Baston, Rikjard (I hope those Dutch names are spelt correctly) and even a young Maldini was soon to join them. But Juventus signed my favourite player at the time Roberto Baggio In 1990 and Vialli the next season.
