Valerian and the Video of a Thousand Nitpicks
Days of Thunder stumbles upon this video... "Hold my beer."
Classic and very creepy episode, one I won't forget. The Johny Mathis song "Wonderful" made this horror scene extra horrifying - I will never listen to this Mathis song again without thinking of the brutal bludgeoning scene. Classic late 90's horror for TV.
So good that they won’t show it on broadcast tv anymore
Yes, small towns are horrible, please do not visit or go near them city person
Was the mom getting impregnated by her own sons?!!!😮
A Home is one of the most spine chilling and disturbing X-files episode. Don´t watch this before bedtime!
The best episode for me
Im pretty sure that when Sam kills the 'Songwriter' he really was murdering the comic book creator. After that he falls into such a delusional state he puts together an entire conspiracy that he thinks he followed, but it was all in his head since he is schizophrenic. He is def the dog killer too. I think the Owl's Kiss was a new persona he took on to explain the killings.
I love Cocktail, but I grew up with that film. It is very well paced and feels like a key chapter in Toms career. He is very charismatic in this movie. There are a lot of what ifs in this film and there are splashes of successful living with the close being a relationship with Jordon who is a nice person like you say amongst a lot of shitty people. This film was of a time where success was a big social pressure and women were competing heavily with men for the top spot. The angst of the high life blended well with the idea of the easy, common life. I enjoyed your review and you make a lot of great points, but for fans of this film, it’s not his worst film it’s a vital part of any 80’s collection or Tom Cruise collection.
So at first I misenterpreted when he was scrubbing his face after the skunk incident. I kind of zoned out and thought he had blood all over his face, and she was holding her nose because of a nosebleed. I thought this implied that he was hiding a violent nature, but we were only shown the good parts or public face. This violent tendency is later confirmed when he kills the artist… Did anyone else pick up on this? Maybe I just haven’t seen skunk spray before because it looked red
Surprised you didn't mention that this is one of, if not the only episode of the show that is never aired on television to this day. I remember seeing it as a kid back in the 90's and being freaked out. I still watch X Files on tv today but this episode is never played.
Are you kidding me? This is the most disgusting episode ever. I am a huge X-Files fan but will never watch this episode again.
these cops are terrible
Small towns and back roads in the US do give the weird creepy vibes..😂
This was scary cause it was kinda based off real tings
This was the best. I remember watching this and being horrified in the best was possible as it sunk into me and my husband what exactly what was happening. Fantastic and even better everyone in the world freaked out and half complained. This was a fantastic time to be alive before the internet had too much hold. We had to freak out face to face and i loved it. Watching it right now in celebration of this horrific yet winderful episode. Shout out to Johnny Mathis 😅😅
Extremely disturbing episode
One of the best.
This episode was disturbing. I only watched a couple of episodes and this was one of them. There was another episode involving what appeared to be an Oompa Loompa (Wonka/Depp) that would roll himself around on a dolly. That was also bizzare.
An interesting, and horrific ep. As I recall there was a really twisted Monica ep that involved a meat packing plant and a murderer skinning people. There was also “Badlaa”, about the legless man who crawled up peoples’ a$$es. I’m surprised any of those made it to air.
This was horrifying !!! Its just sooooo repulsive and scary this episode can't help but watch though, scarred for life
It's clear you dont know what the word "lie" means
Are there version full movie of this,,
Separating the artist from their antics doesn't mean you have to support them. It doesn't matter what they have done or what they do.
Season 13 has begun.. And the online omen is still walking free in America.
All in all, the grander themes might be great, suspenseful and all that. But it crumbles from underneath if you think for a minute.. what car were the parents driving? Not the Caddy i guess, so they must have had two cars. How do the three mutants make money to buy fuel? Can they operate a gas pump and conduct a payment without killing someone? No problem with them living off their land, but you can't forage for an oil filter. Why did the Sherrif grab a bat instead of his gun, and why didn't he turn the lights on? Stand in the doorway and shoot anything that comes at you. The older i get, the less i can suspend my disbelief, even with stuff i loved back in the day.
This episode made me check to make sure my windows & doors were double locked..
Worst film? You’re drunk
I met the actor who played the Sherrif.Really great man. He is a real special force veteran. He said the cast of the X-Files was really kind to him I got a personalized HOME photograph and his 😊autograph for my younger brother.
Awwww 😊
I watched this episode on a long haul flight (in cattle class between LA and London), thus missed a few key moments, the most dark, and disturbing part to me was that meeting with Mother Peacock. And how she would do anything for son’s Which raised a few more questions, like which son was the father of the child, how many other such kids were there? etc
You are a moron, you can shit on any movie, just as you shit on this film. Its a movie!!!!
I love them all. At the end of the day..the worst episode is still better than most!! My top fav series of all time.. without question. 😉
It would be nice if someone could explain why they killed the baby in the 1st place. Later in the episode they act like that wasn't even an important question. I thought the Peacocks loved deformity.
love the video man, you touched every topic like a champ
David Robert Mitchell is part of the conspiracy. Freemasonic entertainment industry, truth in movies lies in the news JFK, 9/11 bay of pigs, pearl harbour, a neverending rabbithole
Pulp Fiction is also S tier.
I think just preferring them in numbers would be better based on how good they are
Havent watched any of them
Valid
Very valid
Kill bill was ass
This is correct
100%, guy. Who can resist Cristoph Waltz or SLJ? Tarantino knows what they’re capable of and it shows.
This show had so many good episodes it's unbelievable.
Certainly the most disturbing. I'll pass on ever watching it, again.
That theme was enough........😂😂😂😂😂
Best movie of Tom career
Still remember watching this ep with my wife when it originally aired. Very edgy for the time.
So this is probably what inspired the movie Wrong Turn
You're very handsome.
