HIT AND RUN SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER 7 PEOPLE HURT IN THE CITY OF TEMECULA

Riverside County Cal Fire along with Riverside County Sheriffs responded to a TRAFFIC COLLISION WITH EXTRICATION at 7:05 PM located on Butterfield Stage Road / Channel Street in the city Temecula. Firefighters where on-scene of a 4 vehicle collision, all with major damage. Total of 7 patients: 2 serious injuries, 2 moderate injuries and 3 patients who were assessed and declined further treatment.

At 7:02 PM, deputies responded to the area of Butterfield Stage Road and Channel Street in Temecula for report of a hit and run traffic collision. The driver of one of the vehicles took off on foot. He was described as a male adult between 35 and 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and a black hat. Our helicopter was overhead and had visual of him. It looks like he was taken into custody at 7:51 PM.

Why am i i mean keep watching all these fatal accidents
This happened right in front of me on Sunday night on my way to Menifee. I was first to stop right as it happened and called 911. The couple in the truck were screaming as I was trying to break the window. Finally another guy stopped and gave me a tire iron to break the window and help get the husband and wife out all while on the phone with emergency services. There was nothing I could do for the driver of the sedan. I checked his pulse but there was nothing, Life changing experience, you never know when something can happen. Prayers to his family
The victim of the sedan was my father. Thank you for trying to help him and calling police.
