But I hope you know that this small moment in time, where you stood on the street and recorded this man playing violin has brought so much joy to so many people.

I know it's an older vid but I'm so happy to see that Ed was still busking in 2006.

I'm 34 now and I was in high was when I first watched this. Came back and watched this one evening when I was remembering old videos I l oved as a kid.I second that this should be preserved in a youtube museum.

Does anyone know if he still busks in Chester and when and how often please. I am planning a visit to this great Northern City and would dearly love to see and listen to him again.

Seen him twice, York and Chester. I could not walk away either time. The man is a genius and.. busks..he has the music industry sussed...never compromised and he clocks most times when he has touched someones soul, He did me. This bloke doesn't need a concert hall. Just wish he put out a Vaughan W. variatiion sometime.

I had the fortune of listening to Ed live on the streets of Chester on two occasions and fell in love with him and still listen to his music. I now live in Australia but whenever I’m back in the UK I will make sure to go back to Chester and look out for him

It's interesting to watch the people with no souls walking by as if it's going right over their heads and are oblivious, and those souls transfixed by the beauty they are hearing. Ed is a genius of the electric guitar.

I have no problem with CZcams of today, but I enjoyed a lot more back then when production was independent and "less trendy".

Coming out of depression can feel like being reborn, as happy memories become available to you again and you remember what it's like to be at peace with the world. Hearing beautiful music for the first time then feels a bit overwhelming, almost as if the pleasure circuits in your brain have atrophied from lack of use. This video will always remind me of that experience back in 2008.
