Comparison:2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N vs. 2024 Ioniq 5: How Different Are They?

Have you heard the news? Hyundai has three-peated as our EV of the Year winner, with the inaugural award in 2022 going to the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6 taking the title in 2023, and now the performance-focused Ioniq 5 N getting the nod for 2024.
The trio shares Hyundai's E-GMP platform, which has an 800-volt electrical system and makes these three among the quickest DC fast-charging EVs on the market. While it's more obvious how the Ioniq 6 sedan differs from its SUV siblings, we think the differences between the standard-issue Ioniq 5 (currently on sale as a 2024 model) and the racetrack-ready 2025 Ioniq 5 N are worth exploring.

I don’t like this format, the AVANT format. You go all the way,SUV, like MAZDA, or BMW X5 or you make a conventional car 🚘 like a camry or the old Audi a4. Not in between. It kills the "sport" mode, and it’s not high enough. At least, or at last it’s now a 48 Volts.
Disagree, the avant is fire, better than the sedan AND MILES BETTER than a fat suv.

I still say for 300+ grand this "FORD Mustang" should put out no less than 1500hp to the wheels. Imagine taking it to your Ford dealer for service. You'll get it back with bald tires and door dings. Fun Fun. Overpriced American rice. Nothing as lame as using tablets from Best Buy as instrument gauges. If it was around 150K or less then they would have something but I still hate the looks, mostly the interior and those GD tablet screens. What fun it must be when those go down.

Confused on the HP numbers if the ICE HP is 375, that’s 7 less than the outgoing model.
They don't sell well in Europe. Very expensive and poor battery management, giving it a short range. Massive depreciation.
Simply buy a Mustang GT and add the Whipple Super Charger and save yourself Gobs of Money !

Well the c8 Z06 is 670hp is reaching $200,000. Shelby Super Snake 830HP, and starts at $160,000. So a 800hp Widebody Mustang GT-Darkhorse priced at $300,000 is one expensive collectible hot wheels car, that you can build faster for cheaper.
