Coming up on the 4th oiler on my 880. Saw is only about 7 yrs old. It doesn't get used daily. Got an old, used, pawn shop Echo 8000, that almost keeps up with it, and is more reliable.

Homelite XL 103 It Worked! Letting it swing is the trick as this transmits the forces correctly. Tried it with a small hammer with no luck. Used a 2 lb hand sledge popped off after 5 good hits. Needs to be metal on metal as it is about generating vibration! DON'T HIT THE FLYWHEEL!

dutchsawdoctor hee dokter! Ik heb 5% op mijn tankdop staan. Dat zou dan 1:20 betekenen toch? Het is ook een 70s trouwens. Maar 1:20 is wel erg vet toch?
Snijkamp tegenwoordig is de olie van veel betere kwaliteit en is het dus niet meer nodig om 1:20 te mengen. ik zelf meng 1:30/1:40 voor deze zaag en loopt er goed op
