Hello ! How li-ion performs compared to li-po ? I searching some solution for my 14S bird Regards
Newer cell I must say will deliver just very little less Amp compared to LIPO (105/110 liion Vs 118/125 amp in this particular plane) I can clearly see a very little difference in take off roll distances and in flight won't really see a big difference in top speed (175 liion Vs 185 lipo) ... Esc will stay cooler, you just need to take care of batteries temperature and have an appropriate ducting for cooling.... Other than that for me it's a win-win! Molicel p45b are the one I would recommend!
8400mah fyi. great flight for sure, nice landing! Ive been making my own batt out of the p42 and p45's. work great. not quite the punch of lipo but nice even power for the whole flight and longer flights.
Yep, to be really precise! I getting the 45's in a week time, let's see how better they perform! It's more scale flying, really have to watch out for your aircraft energy, and I enjoy it for this exact reason!

Yep, I normally fly 7 to 7:30 min ....after that flight I had 3.5v left! Those were pre built

That brake controller works but is very bad at not braking symmetrically. I don't think I've ever seen it not brake like that.

Very nice flight and excellent upgrade. Excellent throttle management and smooth handling. The JP fan unit is really nice and worth every penny. The mechanical precision of the unit itself and the electrical performance is tops. My first flight will be using the Changsun stock 105 mm fan unit for now. PS: Thanks for helping me out with rate and expo settings on the forum. :-) Always appreciate the help.

What is the massive trimming going on at 53-58 seconds?
It's for the turbine start up, it does initiate the auto star process.... If you notice, as soon as the trim reaches the full up position I move the throttle full up and full down and then the start up procedure is initiated. Consider that I use cross trim configuration!

Great video! Did you shoot this using a Runcam 2? I also notice there was no prop artifacts in the video. Did you "process" those out or did the camera do it automatically?
Hi! Thanks! Yep, runcam 2 and not editing whatsoever for the prop articafts.... With that light I found it's not giving any issue at all.... Possibly also for the recording at 60 frame or a combination of both!
